"Hey... look at me", Winter called.

"Tell me what's going on?"

Karina's eyes are now looking straight towards Winter. Her eyes are red and the tears on her cheeks are so messy that the view is enough to make Winter's heart drop to the lowest.

"Winter...", Karina said.

"My wife, Winter...", she continued.

Winter couldn't believe her ears and her eyes became so wide from the shock. More tears formed on the edges of her eyes, and Winter had enough playing through and cool with everything in front of Karina.

"Y-You... remember...?", Winter's voice cracked. Karina slowly nodded her head and pulled Winter again for a hug. She planted her head on Winter's shoulder, crying heavily from the pain of guilt that was conquering her whole mind.

"I'm sorry, Winter..."

"I'm sorry that I've hurt you..."

"I'm sorry that I don't remember you..."

"I'm so sorry..."

Winter just pat the actress's back gently, smiling sadly but warmly while looking up at the sky. Shit, she thought. This is where all the walls she builds this two years ago collapsed. This is where Karina needs her old Winter, her wife.

"It's not your fault, Rina. It's my fault. You didn't hurt me at all. I'm the one who's hurting myself all these years", Winter hushed her wife one more time using her thumb.

Karina with her wails and Winter keep calming her down. It goes on for several minutes and another car who was watching them right behind just scratching its head in confusion at the sudden emotional scene.

"What is happening?", Yeonjun asked the policeman right next to him. The man shake his head and lifted her eyebrows with his hand gesture.

"Nah. I have no idea".

When Karina finally calmed down, Winter pulled her up together with her. Her tender fingers were busy wiping away the tears on Karina's cheeks. Then, she fixed Karina's messy hair behind her ears. The actress's eyes are were still red from crying, but at least only soft sobs can be heard, and slowly a small smile flashed on Winter's face.

"I missed you so much, Winter", Karina said countless times again. Winter caressed Karina's cheek softly with her thumbs. The smile on her face never leave Karina's eyes, as Winter softly replied to the actress back.

"I missed you too, Rina. A lot more than you could have ever imagined", then leaving a soft peck on the actress's forehead.

"Why are you keeping this a secret? You should've told me sooner", Karina asked as she wiped her own tears that slowly become lesser.

"What actually happens is that...", Winter paused her own words when she saw an unknown car, driving at an enormous speed behind Karina without a sign to stop. At that moment, Winter can only predict the worst. Her eyes widen in shock. The moment itself feels like slow motion when the car was getting closer to them. 

She won't lose Karina anymore.

"Winter?", Karina asked and the next second, Winter already pushed her to the side of the road and Karina's butt bumped hard on the rough and hard road surface. The next moment she heard is a loud crashing sound just right in front of her and the first view Karina saw is Winter's lifeless body, a few meters away at the center of the road.

"NO!!"

Karina get up immediately from her place and ran straight towards her wife, only realizing that the younger woman was now unconscious in her own blood. Her wails from just now became worse when she held Winter's body by her arm.

"NO! WINTER! NO!", Karina shouted as she hugged Winter tight inside her embrace.

"Wint-- I just met you! I just got to remember you!"

"YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME!!!"

"WINTER! WAKE UP!"

Karina keep shouting and shouting as Yeonjun and the policeman came running toward Winter and the person who hit them.

Karina waited nervously in front of the emergency room. Her tears are unstoppable but no one near her can only be sorry for the actress and worried for Winter. Aeri, Ningning, and Key tried to calm down the actress, but it end up in failure.

A few minutes later, Yeji came running towards her and hug the actress tightly despite Winter's fresh blood that are all over Karina's clothes. Yeji couldn't help from tearing up from the sadistic situation, knowing that the actress just got to know who actually her wife is hours before.

There are tons of busybody reporters outside the hospital, but Karina cares no more. Her mind right now is only filled with Winter.

This feeling is as worse as Karina feel when she lost her parents.

Hell. The heartache was even worse than when she lost her parents.

There are a lot of people that Karina knew, but also don't know in front of the room. There's Ryujin with some other policemen. There are also some National Security agents that Karina never met other than Yeonjun. Some sobbing, some praying.

But no one dares to compare theirs with Karina's heartbreak.

Winter is her wife. Not just a mere bodyguard who's doing her job by keeping Karina safe.

Winter is her best friend, her girlfriend, her lover, her family, her everything.

If she lost her for the second time, Karina might die.

As soon as the doctor came out of the room, Karina came running toward the doctor with her teary eyes. When the doctor questioned the relationship between her and Winter, the actress didn't hesitate to say that the younger woman is her wife, and it succeeds to leave a great shock to people near them.

"Thankfully, she survived the hit", the doctor said but he immediately continue right before Karina can sigh in relief.

"But I'm sorry to tell you, Mrs. Yu".

"Your wife is in a coma".

Karina fell down on her knees.
