Her eyes shot open

as y/n jolted up and started to vomit up blood, I saw the bullet shell come out as she threw up

She was sweating, as she screamed in pain, shivering, she started to go into convulsions

My grandmother pushed her body down softly as she grabbed a bone needle poking her chest with it and blowing, "the great mother is with us"

I saw my grandmother mix more herbs and put it up to y/n's lip's

The convulsions soon stopped, my grandmother guided my hand up to y/n's heart

"Do you feel that."

I nodded, her heartbeat was as strong as ever

"She shall live. Eywa has spoken it is not her time yet to be with our ancestors."

I smiled happily as I started to cry

"Now go tell the people that she is gonna be okay, while I anoint these wounds."

I nodded quickly running out

Jake had finally finished off quaritch, yet threats still remained  but for now, they had peace, the rest of the rda had left back to earth, losing a fight they will never ever win, peace rung out the whole forest. Rhea had stayed and switched sides for good waiting for her unilitron test to become a true warrior. She had became one of the people.

Y/n's pov

I laid in my hammock bandages wrapped around my waist as neteyam laid next to me, he had been taking care of me these past days, I sat up taking off my bandage around my waist off seeing a bullet scar it was still healing but it wouldn't hurt for it breathe

"Don't take that off you're gonna get it infected."

"Neteyam.." I said softly "it is already closing up I will be fine" I rubbed my face

He took my hands from my face "be careful you are being very careless  your cut is still healing."

I gave him a soft smile

"You have no need to worry for me."

"I have to."

He leaned his head in my shoulder "y/n I have a question."

"Hm?"

"Will you be my mate? I want to be bonded to you. I want us to together for a lifetime."

I felt my face heat up

"You're not gonna
leave me if I say yes right?" I joked

I heard him chuckle "I won't.
