Killian's Birthday

"Dada."

"That is right., Hopey."

Emma gets Hope ready and puts her in her carrier. She had a backpack. The mother and daughter left the apartment building and headed to the subway. They took the subway downtown to a few shops to buy Killian's birthday gifts. Emma let Hope wander around the stores, with her nearby.

"Mama."

She faces her daughter. "Did you find a gift for Dada?" Hope tugs a long sleeve woolen sweater. She finds Killian's size. "This gift can be from you, baby girl." Hope smiles big.

The mother and daughter continue to walk around. Emma went to the baby store to buy a few outfits for Hope and the baby. She still cannot believe she is going to have two babies under two soon. She is starting to shop for two babies.

It was Killian's birthday, January 26th. Emma gets up early to make Killian a birthday breakfast. Henry was playing with Hope in the living room before he had to leave for school. Emma wakes her husband up by kissing him on his scruffy cheek. " Happy birthday to you...happy birthday to Killian..." Killian was up smiling. "Happy birthday."

"Thank you, my swan." They kiss. He rubs her baby bump. "How is our little one?"

"Growing and making me crave sweets."

Killian kissed his swan's baby bump. "How about I make you something sweet to eat?"

"Really?"

"Yes."

"I made breakfast for you. It is your birthday. I should be spoiling you. "

"You are carrying our baby, love. Our little love is my birthday gift. I am going to make my wife her own separate breakfast." He rubs her baby bump.

"Breakfast sounds good. I do have a gift for you." She gives him a wrapped present.

He opened his present which was a shirt, I am a daddy to three little pirates. Killian smiles. "I have one more gift for you." She hands him a wrapped box.

He opens his present, there was a note. " This is a secret between you and me, Emma. " He sees a box, Sneak Peek:Gender Early DNA test , a take-home gender test. He opened the box, seeing a blood test, Emma Jones. "Emma? Is this a take-home test?"

"Yes, it is a take-home blood test where we can find out the gender of our baby pirate. It may or not be accurate. We will find out officially if our baby is a boy or girl in my sonogram appointment in March. I want the kids to be there for. For now, I just want us to know, the gender of our baby. I had to ship this out for the results. It came yesterday."

"Emma, you really want to now."

"Yes. I want this surprise for you and me. I want to make your birthday extra special."

He kissed her on her lips. "Being with you, our children and our little one on the way is all I want for my birthday."

"Let's see if we are having a boy or girl."

"Lad or lass, I will be very happy."

"Me too." He hugged her. "Are you ready to find out?"

"Yes!"

"Open it!"

Killian looks into the box, he sees the results, 97.00 of xy chromosomes,gender: boy. He began crying. "We are having a son." He hugged his wife.

Emma was crying. "We are having a son." She rubs her tiny baby bump. She was crying with joy and happiness. She gets to raise this baby boy from the very beginning, her second chance. "I want to name him after his Daddy, Killian. We can call him Ian."
