Nathaniel gave me a confused look, trying to process my response. "Well, what's going on in that head of yours?" he asked.

I cleared his throat. "I thought it'd be nice to have kids someday. But right now I don't think I'm ready for that. I don't think I'm ready to be a dad."

"I know," Nathaniel said, solemnly. "I thought it'd be nice to have kids. But right now I don't think I'm ready for that either."

I shifted my weight from one foot to the other, taking a few deep breaths. "You're right. The timing is not right. But in a few years, I'm sure we'll have kids. Or, you know, not."

Nathaniel didn't respond for a few minutes, but he did get a good laugh out of that last bit.

Over the next few weeks, Nathaniel and I discussed the possibility of starting a family, weighing the pros and cons and considering all our options. We talked about adoption, surrogacy, and even fostering.
Nathaniel and I heard a loud crash outside, causing us to jump up from our seats. We quickly transformed into our superhero alter-egos, ready to face whatever danger lay ahead.

THERD POV
As they stepped out onto the street, they saw a villain wreaking havoc on the city. Rooster Bold and Caprikid didn't waste any time getting to work helping the others, using their superpowers to take down the bad guy.
With each part of the fight, Rooster Bold and Caprikid worked together seamlessly, moving in perfect sync as they fought for justice. The villain was no match for the dynamic duo, who managed to save countless lives and restore peace to the city. Even Ladybug and Cat Noir noticed how well they worked together, just like most of the other couples did, but they stood out to the two.

As they stood triumphantly amidst the rubble, Rooster Bold and Caprikid couldn't help but feel grateful for each other's support and strength. They knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would always have each other's backs.
Ladybug approached the two superheroes with a smile on her face. "Well done, you two," she said, clapping her hands together. "You make quite the team."
Rooster Bold and Caprikid grinned at each other, feeling proud of what they had accomplished. "Thanks, Ladybug," Caprikid said. "We couldn't have done it without your help."
Ladybug waved off his thanks. "Please, it was my pleasure to assist such talented heroes." She paused for a moment before continuing. "I couldn't help but overhear your earlier conversation about starting a family. I just wanted to say that I think you would both make wonderful fathers."
Rooster Bold and Caprikid exchanged surprised glances before turning back to Ladybug with grateful smiles.
"Thank you," Rooster Bold said softly. "That means a lot coming from you."
Ladybug nodded, then turned to leave. "Keep up the good work, boys," she called over her shoulder as she disappeared into the night.

MARC POV
Alix's eyes widened in surprise as Nathaniel and i shared the news of our engagement. "Oh my gosh, congratulations!" They exclaimed, pulling us both into a tight hug.
ALIX POV
As we sat down to celebrate with a bottle of champagne, i couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by the love and happiness in the room. I had always known that Marc and Nathaniel were meant to be together, and seeing them take this next step in their relationship was truly special.

Over the course of the evening, we reminisced about old times and talked excitedly about our plans for the future. I listened intently as Marc and Nathaniel shared their hopes and dreams, feeling grateful to have such wonderful friends in my life.

I went all out for Marc and Nathaniel's engagement party. I decorated the room with twinkling lights and colorful streamers, setting the stage for a night of celebration and joy. As our old high school friends arrived one by one, the energy in the room grew more and more electric.

The music was loud and upbeat, and everyone danced together as though no time had passed since we were teenagers. We laughed and joked, catching up on each other's lives and reminiscing about old times.

As the night wore on, i brought out a cake adorned with two grooms on top, beaming at my friends as we cheered and sang "Happy Engagement" to Marc and Nathaniel. It was a moment of pure happiness and love, one that i knew would stay with me for years to come.
The party reached its peak as i suggested we play spin the bottle. The room erupted in cheers and laughter as everyone gathered around in a circle. One by one, the bottle spun and landed on its chosen recipient.

MARC POV
As the first couple disappeared into the closet for their seven minutes in heaven, Nathaniel and I shared a knowing look. We had played this game countless times in high school, but this time felt different somehow.

As each new pair emerged from the closet, the energy in the room grew more electric. There was something undeniably thrilling about watching your friends make out with each other, and the champagne certainly wasn't helping matters.

Finally, it was my turn to spin the bottle. My heart raced as it twirled around and around before coming to a stop on Nathaniel friend, Juleka.
We exchanged a nervous smile before disappearing into the closet together. As soon as the door closed behind us, Juleka pulled me close and kissed me deeply, her hands roaming over my body.
There was an awkward silence between us for a moment before anyone spoke up.
