Chapter 14: A visit to the zoo

"Friday....that works for me! I'll book the tickets!" Izuku said happily, "are you sure? You sound quite busy." Katsuki asked, he didn't want to burden the greenett, even though it was Izuku's idea in the first place.
"No! Really, I could use a day away from the books." Izuku admitted, Katsuki sighed in relief, "better not change your mind, because once Soph' has her mind set on something it's hard to get her to forget about it." Izuku chuckled, "don't worry, I'm not going anywhere." Izuku stated.
They both said their goodbyes and each carried on with their day. Once Katsuki and Sophie returned from their trip, they spent the rest of their day unpacking and playing together. Even thou Katsuki was exhausted from their trip he still played with Sophie knowing he wouldn't see her much during this week. Since he took the bus, he started passing the time on his way to work by calling Izuku. After taking a week off he had to work extra hours at the restaurant since it paid the most. he's been late on his last few rents fees but he's trying his best to keep up with them.
Katsuki went through his day miserably. One thing he hated besides waiting tables was the people that he served. They were all so stuck up and self absorbed, he hated it. He's gotten in trouble in the past from his manager for treating the costumers with disrespect. It wasn't his fault, half the females who were married would practically eye fuck him while their husbands we're right across from them, not to mention how fucking grabby they are, his three year old daughter has more respect for personal space then these old hags do.

Once Katsuki had returned home he was met with a screaming toddler covering her ears and a scattered redhead looking around the house as a fire alarm was blaring throughout the small house. A scowl placed itself upon the blondes face as he kicked his shoes off walking angrily towards the smoky kitchen.

"Fucking Christ, Shitty hair! This is the fourth time!" Katsuki yelled as he reached into a cabinet taking out baking soda. "put it out, Daddy!" Sophie yelled hiding behind Kirishima who was hiding behind the blonde.
Katsuki sprinkled the baking soda over the small fire that was in the pan that laid on the stove. Whatever they were trying to make was no longer edible.

"Sorry man, I was trying to make some grilled cheese, I must have over greased the pan." Kirishima said with a nervous laugh, Katsuki was not amused. He knelt down to his daughter who was still clinging to the red heads leg, "you okay babe? You didn't get burned right?" Katsuki asked, he checked her exposed arms and face, "no daddy, Uncle Kiri has boo-boo!" Sophie pulled away from her father pointing at Kirishima's wrist, Katsuki sighed, "go to your room okay? I'll make you something else for dinner." Katsuki instructed the girl who complied without hesitation.

Once the girl was gone he could finally rain hell upon his friend, "what the fuck were you thinking! I mean I know you're an idiot but are you not even capable of making something as simple as grilled cheese!?" Katsuki yelled in a whisper, he looked through a cupboard finding the first aid kit, "I know, that wasn't very manly of me. Kaminary's the one who usually does the cooking" Kirishima said feeling ashamed, Katsuki opened the first aid kit finding some bandages and aloe Vera. Katsuki grabbed the his arm pulling it towards the sink. Without warning he turned on the tap, cool water drenching over Kirishimas wrist, "Jesus man! A little warning next time!?" Kirishima shrieked pulling his arm out from under the tap, "well maybe don't be a fucking dumb ass and I might warn you!" Katsuki retorted shoving the red heads wrist under the cool water once again.

"If Dunce face is studying all week does that mean you'll be on your own?" Katsuki questioned, Kirishima raised an eyebrow, "how do you know Kaminari's studying?" Kirishima questioned, Katsuki shrugged pulling his arm out from under the water inspecting the burn, "have you been talking with him? I'm surprised he's talking to anyone other then Midoriya and Uraraka. I think he's slowly losing his mind." Kirishima said, then mumbled the last part thinking of their last encounter.
