Chapter 21: For You? Anything.

Start from the beginning

I'm so so SO excited!

Thing leads me to the beginning of the woods where Wednesday stood holding a red rose and a dark brown woven basket. She looked absolutely beautiful with the melding colors of the sunset shining down on her.

I walked right up to her where she handed me the rose. She even took every thorn off of the stem so I wouldn't hurt myself. That was honestly one of the sweetest things ever!

"Shall we?" She says, extending her hand out to mine.

Gladly I take her hand as we begin to walk down a path made of roses and tulips with little black lanterns placed every so often. It was breathtaking. Not as breathtaking as her of course but it was a close second.

We reached the treehouse where she allowed me to climb up the spiral staircase winding around the massive tree trunk. The building was quit out of place in the forest seeing its gothic look.

Inside there was a beautifully carved wooden bookshelf covered in antique books and some succulents. Lurch really has his work cut out for him with all he has to take care of.

My eyes wonder around the treehouse some more where I see a little kitchenette and a small living space across from it. There was another small staircase that I hadn't been up before. So of course I went up it!

O. M. G.

It's so pretty up here! The gothic bed in the center with the whole roof being glass panels with a small garden on one side. Honestly I'd love a home like this just with more color of course!

"This is mother and father's favorite place to send Pugsley and I when they've had enough of our antics." Wednesday speaks in a low voice, startling me in the process.

"GEEZ-! You scared me! I'm going to have to get you a bell or something so you stop scaring the shit out of me." I joke.

"Or perhaps I'll have to teach you to not scare so easily."

Even if she did teach me, I'd never not jump at her sneaking up on me. She even scares her mother and she like never gets scared. So my likely hood of not getting startled by her are one to absolutely none.

"Or we could do both?" I suggest.

"I refuse to wear a bell. Now let's go, the food will get cold."

"But there's a literal mini oven and microwave down there. We could just heat it-"

"Enid," She cut me off.

"Got it. Got it."

We walk back down to the main floor of the treehouse where Wednesday had laid all of the food out on the table facing the big white screen on the wall.

Movie and a dinner? Score!

Wednesday points to the giant floor pillow sitting on the right. I'm glad she has these cause if I had eaten on the couch I most definitely would've had my food all down the front of myself.

"Sooo, what movie did you choose!"

I'm anxiously dying to know. I really really hope she didn't choose a horror movie. Or at least not a super scary one.

"Fear street 1994. From my research it has the romance you want and the gore I want."

Awww! She researched the perfect movie for us to watch! That's literally so freaking cute!

She started the movie as we began to eat the main course of the meal.  My knife cuts into the very thick piece of ribeye. Wens knew it was getting around to be the full moon soon. She always pays so much attention to me and my life without ever fully acknowledging it to me. It's kinda funny.
