Now you're anxious.

"You good y/n?" Viney says tapping your shoulder.

"Yeah I'm okay." You say.

Shoot, why wouldn't they choose the daughter of a coven head, they would wanna see what you're capable of.

"If I were to ever get Grom Queen, would... would you switch me?" You ask Viney.

"If...Cedar saw that, my future. He wouldn't want to be with me." You say.

"Honestly. I think you should tell him the truth. If you're serious about him, you should tell him the truth about you and Goldie." Viney says.

"If he bails, it means he wouldn't wanna commit, because he's scared for himself." Viney says.

"...yeah." You say.

"So tell him the truth." She says.

"You're the only person who knows though." You tell Viney.

"I can't tell so many people." You say.

"Y/n. You're stuck with Goldie no matter what. If you want atleast something secret, so you can have your own choice. You need to be honest." Viney says.

"Yeah.. you're right. I don't know when I should tell him though." You say.

"Whenever you feel is right, but if you are gonna be Grom Queen. It needs to be soon." Viney says.

"It's getting announced tomorrow." Viney says.

The next day, is Monday. Sooner or later Grom Queen is going to be announced. You'll have the whole week to train and prepare yourself. That is, even if it is you.

Currently it's lunch time. You have your next plants class with Willow and Cedar. They're going to announce it during the next period. You can tell every girl is fidgety and nervous.

Cedar is sitting with your group today. He gets along with everyone so nicely. He has his arm wrapped around over your shoulder.

"Who do you think it's gonna be?" Cedar asks you.

"I hope it's not me." You laugh.

"I don't think it will be. That's so specific, the school knows you have a magic disability anyway, that would be pretty harsh on you don't you think?" He asks.

"I Guess so." You say.

"I think it's gonna be Amity." Skara says.

"I was thinking Boscha." Jerbo says.

"I bet you snails it will be Boscha." Jerbo smirks at Skara.

"Do you really?" Skara smirks back.

"Watch it just be someone entirely different." Viney says.

The bell rings. Time for next period. The doom period, the dreading period.

You sigh and grab your bag and walk to class hand in hand with Cedar.

"Cheer up, it's not gonna be you, I have a good feeling." Cedar says.

"Thanks for being positive, I appreciate it." You laugh.

"Gotta think positive, to earn positive things." He says.

"Yeah." You smile.

You open the door to plants and everyone takes their seats. You sit next to Willow, who's currently not in her seat because she's moving around some plant pots. She's who your usually paired with in partner work in class.
