Episode 33

I smiled looking at my home town because yesterday it has been perfectly 6 months that I haven't come to Delhi. I took my time to come down from the train because I knew everyone must be sleeping at home and it's not appropriate to go there at 4.30 in the morning.

I went to drink some chai and then did my breakfast at some restaurant. I looked at time and it was 6.00 at morning, I booked a cab and waited until it reaches to me. After waiting for sometime, finally the cab arrived and I went to my home. It took 1 and half hour to reach at my home from station.

I took a little nap until I reached home. It was 8.00 am now I smiled and pressed the doorbell. I heard Kanika's voice "Who is this in the morning?" I giggled hearing her irritated voice. She opened the door and didn't say anything but I hugged her because I desperately needed a hug from two days.

She hugged me back saying "Everything is ok? What are you doing here in Delhi that too in morning?" I shook my head as a no saying "Everything is ok, I just missed you and wanted to give you a surprise." I knew how everything is ok in my life. She broke the hug saying "Let's go inside first."

We went inside and I met everyone and everyone was shock as same as Kanika. Mom said "Sachi, go take some rest, you were travelling for straight one day." I nodded my head going inside my room. I opened my room's door and looking my room my lips curled up, it was the same as before.

I went inside and closed the door, the first thing I did was taking shower. After coming out from washroom I felt fresh, I went to my bed and laid, thinking to fall asleep but I wasn't able. I was twisting and turning but still couldn't sleep.

I was staring at ceiling and my brain again started thinking about Sanjh's words, my tears started to come from my eyes thinking about him. First he thought I was behind his money and now he thinks I cheated on him with Abeer and that too because of money.

I was in my thoughts when someone knocked my door. I sat up and removed my tears from my face saying "Come in" It was mom, she came inside with smiling face and said "Let's go for lunch Sachi." I nodded my head with fake smile because I didn't want them to think that I am not happy.

I said "coming, you go down." She left my room, I checked my phone feeling the vibration indicating I received a message. I checked the message hoping it can be Sanjh but it was Maa's message saying "Don't worry about home, I will handle everything. Just enjoy" I smiled looking at her message and went downstairs. I sent a message to our family saying I will be in Delhi because I was missing them.

At dining, everyone was sitting when my dad asked "When are you going back?" I said "In few days" suddenly bhai said "What's wrong with you dad, Sachi has come home after 6 months and it hasn't been even few hours and you're asking her about when will she leave. It's her home also, she can come here whenever she wants." He said patting my head.

I smiled at him hearing his words and said "Don't worry bhai, I will go after few days" I didn't have any plan to stay here permanently, I will go back to Mumbai because I have my own job there and about staying I have my own money, I will stay by my own. After my marriage I saved my money because I didn't need to buy anything for myself. In marriage also, I got lots of clothes so I don't need any, my money got spent just on cabs sometimes or whenever I went out, nothing else.

So I don't have any plan to stay here, I smiled and we started our lunch and went to my room. I wanted to sleep but I couldn't sleep because I always sleep with Sanjh without his touch I don't know how will I sleep. Sachi, you need to sleep without him for whole life now because I don't think he will come here to take you with him.

I tried to sleep so hard but no use, so I called Abhi bhai and said "Hello Abhi bhai, I'm not in Mumbai so" He said "I got your mail, soo what?" "So can I work from home for few days?" He laughed and said "Why are you so eager to work? Just enjoy wherever you are." I said "No I was getting bored so just assign me some work." "Yeah ok, as you say" He said.
