2:Encounter With Aliens And Shield

Max Runs up.

Max: Gwen, are you alri- (seeing Heatblast.) What in blazes?

Gwen:Hey, Grandpa, guess who?

Heatblast:It's me, Grandpa!

Max:Ben? What happened to you?

Ben:Well, when I was walking, this meteor...

Gwen:(Cuts Heatblast off.) Erm, excuse me? Major forest fire burning out of control remember?

Heatblast:What do we do?

Max begins Thinking.

Max:Backfire. Start a new fire and let it burn into the old fire. They'll snuff each other out. Think you can do it, Ben?

Heatblast:Shooting flames? I can definitely do.

All three run out. Ben finds trees some distance away, then shoots them with a blast of fire, causing a new blaze.

A Yosemite Park Ranger comes across the burnt out forest.

Up above the Earth, the ship has a damaged bridge, and an incredibly mutilated Vilgax is in a stasis tank.

Next to the tank is a mutilated body of a blue girl.

Thanos:(To Robotic Lieutenant.) What do you mean it's not there? This battle nearly costed my daughter her life and my brother his--And you say the Omnitrix is no longer on board the transport?

Robotic Lieutenant:Sensors indicate a probe was jettisoned from the ship, just before boarding. It landed on the planet below.

Vilgax:(To another nearby bioid behind him.) Go. Bring it to me.

The bioid, enshrouded in darkness, walks off.
The trio eating marshmallows by the fire, Heatblast having just explained to Max.

Max:And you say that this watch "just jumped up and clamped onto your wrist"?

Heatblast Catches a marshmallow that Gwen throws to him and it melts.

Heatblast:Hey, this time it wasn't my fault, (Marshmallow stuck in his mouth.) I swear!

Max:I believe you, Ben.

Gwen:Think he's gonna stay a monster forever?

Max:He's not a monster. He's an alien.

Heatblast and Gwen stare at him like Nigga how you know?

Max:I-I mean, look at him. What else could he be?

Heatblast:Yeah, I don't wanna be 'fire guy' forever. How am I supposed to play Little League this fall if I charcoal the ball every time I catch a pop fly?

Max:Don't worry, Ben. We'll figure this thing out.

The Omnitrix on Heatblast's chest beeps red 5 times, then lets out a blinding light towards Max and Gwen. When they open their eyes, Ben is standing in front of them, human and all.

Ben Looks at himself, elated.

Ben:Hah! I'm me again!

Gwen:Aw, too bad. I liked you better when you were a briquette.

Ben has Gone back to trying to rip off the Omnitrix.

Ben:I still can't get this thing off.

Max:Better not fool with it anymore until we know exactly what we're dealing with. I'll go check out that crash site. You guys stay here until I get back.

A pod shoots from Vilgax's ship above orbit, landing deep in the woods, next to the Omnitrix's pod. Revealing itself as a gigantic Mechadroid and the shadowed one from before, it scans and promptly disintegrates the pod in the crash site, and ejects smaller flying Mechadroids from its shoulders to go find the watch.
