"That's the silliest one yet..." Susan notes.

"Now, if that's how I go, you girls gotta promise to move my face back to the front of my head like Daffy did with his beak."

"We should be writing this down..." Mom jokes.

"You can remember to move my face to the front of my head!"

"It depends on what I have going on that week..." Rory shrugs.

"Don't worry, Lor, I'll move it" I reassure her, obviously knowing we're talking about absolute nonsense.

"That's how you be a good person, learn please" she speaks to my mom and her daughter.
I'm about to jump in with another topic, but my phone starts to ring and Lane barges into the diner.

"Hello, Stars Hollow, are you ready to rock?" she exclaims in excitement.

"Out, now!" Luke yells at me while he points at the 'No Cell Phones' sign, not even bothering to turn to look at me.

I roll my eyes at him and leave my seat to Lane who's freaking out about how happy she is finally having a band to play in.
"Sorry, Lane, I'd gladly listen to you but I gotta take this."

"Ooh, is blondie calling?" she mocks me and I give her a look.

"Blondie? Who's blondie?" Mom asks panicking.

"No one" I reply running outside.

Just before I shut the door behind me, I can hear Susan explaining "It's Tristan, mom..."
Great, Susan, thank you very much.

"Hey, sorry, I was in the diner and, you know, the no cell phones rule..." I roll my eyes again, that rule is so stupid.

"Don't worry about it, how are you?" Tristan replies sweetly.

"Good, I was just having dinner with my mom, Sue, and the Gilmore girls. How about you? Is military school still sucking?"

"Of course it is, but I got myself into this...besides that, I'm doing great though, can't wait to see you."

"Same here, when are you coming over here again?"

"I was gonna come to Stars Hollow this weekend, but I found another thing we could do."

"Tell me right now, then!"

"I could still come to town, but then we could take a bus and go visit New York. Have you ever been there?"

Yes, with the boy I still like even though I'm seeing you.
"No, not yet, but that sounds like a great idea!"

"And just wait until you hear the rest!"

"Let's hear it!!"

"A friend of mine sells tickets to this party that's being held in New York, would you come?"

"I really would like to, but I gotta ask my mom first..."

"No problem, what matters is that you tell me at least two days before the party so I can actually buy the tickets."

"Alright, I'll call you."

"Okay, bye Liv. Goodnight."

"Goodnight, bye Tristan."

Deep down I know that what I just did is wrong, I actually lied about being in New York before.
And for what? He wouldn't have asked me with who, that's for sure.
I don't know why I'm acting this way, I don't know why I'm still seeing Tristan.
I'm losing sight of myself, I can't recognize right and wrong anymore. I just do what makes me feel like I'm surpassing Jess in this stupid feud.
