I'LL BE THERE (Josh Cuthbert Fanfiction)

STILL JOSH'S POV:

As soon as they left with Abbey, i ran out to my car. I was so worried about her. I knew i had known her for no longer than a day but i could feel something, i could feel something in the pit of my stomach, i had fallen in love with her, more than i had ever fallen in love with anyone else before.

I didnt ask any of the boys to come with me, as i wanted to speak to Abbey alone. When i finally got there, i jumped out and sprinted to reception. There was a middle aged woman sitting there typing at her computer. "Hey, Is Abbey Jackson here?!" i quickly asked the lady. "Yes, Yes, shes here...in ward 22" She said kindly. I thanked her then ran up the flight of stairs to where it said 22 was. I finally got there, then froze. A million thoughts had just flew into my mind.

What if she thinks im weird, what if she wonders why i am there, what if she doesnt expect me to be there, what if she doesnt feel the same way about me as i do about her. I quickly brushed all of them thoughts to the back of my mind and just hoped for the best. I pushed open the wooden door and looked inside, there were quite a few people in this ward, they were all teenagers. Luckily i didnt have to stop for any photos off fans on the way here. I love our fans, but i really needed to see Abbey. I walked down to the counter in the centre of the ward. "Is Abbey Jackson in this ward?" i asked the lady politely. "Ill just check love....hey you were in that group of the x factor werent you? oh, i loved you." she said getting slightly excited. "Ur..oh yeah that was me. Thanks, it means alot." i said thankfully to her. "Anyway, Abbey is in this ward, shes down the bottom. Unfortunately shes still unconcious and hasnt woken up yet...but the doctors said she is due to anytime soon. "Ok thankyou." I said before running down to the end of the ward. I got there and looked around, there was two beds at the bottom, one was empty and the other had the curtains drawn slightly. I walked towards them and opened them, Abbey was lying there, lifeless. You couldnt see her beautiful eyes or smile. It made my heart sink to see her like this. I walked up to the side of the bed and sat down, i reached down for her hand and held it tightly, it was freezing so i tried warming it up by the sleeve of my jumper. After about 30 minutes, A nurse came up behind me telling me i had to go as visiting time was over. I leaned down and kissed her forehead softly, then turned around and walked out to my car. I decided to drive back to the hotel room we were staying in, in Manchester. I walked through the door and collapsed on my bed, all i could think about was Abbey. When the boys came rushing through the door laughing, i didnt even hear them. I was deeply lost in my own thoughts. "Hey joshhyy, how is she?!" George said collapsing next to me, resting his head on my shoulder. (GOSH!!!) "Oh, ur, shes unconcious right now, she aint woken up yet...but she will soon." I said my voice still a bit shaky. "Aw, man. She'll be ok." Jaymi said patting me on the shoulder. I went to bed soon after that conversation, i didnt get any sleep though. It was 5am in the morning when i got a call from the hospital, telling me that Abbey had woken up. I didnt even care what time it was, i quickly pulled out a pair of tracksuit bottoms and a tshirt, then ran out into my car. It seemed to take longer to reach the hospital at this time of day. I arrived there and ran through the building, i leaped up the flight of stairs and flung open the door of the ward. i looked around and flinched, forgetting that mostly everyone else was asleep. I crept quickly down to the end and looked round the curtain, Abbey was lying there, her green eyes sparkling looking at me. "J...Josh?" She said confused. "Hey, yeah its me..sorry i had to see you, im sorry if you didnt want me here, i just....i cant stop thinking about you." i said quickly. "Josh, Josh. Its ok, Im happy you're here." she said smiling. Then she pulled me down to her level and hugged me tightly. I felt her head sink into my shoulder and everything, this moment just felt so right. This could be the beginning of something beautiful.
