Chapter 27: Forces unite

The cookie groaned while Custard Cream cried with glee, "Oh thank goodness you're okay (Y/N)... I thought." As the prince finally got a good looks at who he was sitting on top of, he quickly got off.

Now free of the sudden weight, the cookie on the ground slowly sat up. "I'm sorry your majesty, but I'm not (Y/N)."

All the other cookies gasped while Custard Cream remained frozen.

"Dark Choco cookie!" Gingerbrave's eyes widened, "But I thought you left for good."

"I did but then when news came about the new cookie that came into the kingdom. News traveled fast and eventually even Dark Enchantress cookie wanted to see this new and powerful cookie for herself. I stopped her once but this time she sent Pomegranate cookie. That mage has always been clever." Dark Choco cookie explained while Tighnari further continued to sniff the area. To see if he could pick up on the scent of his owner.

"There's no point in trying to sniff out their location. Knowing Pomegranate cookie, she probably used some sort of magic to make sure no trace of where she went was left behind." Tighnari whimpered at the ex-princes words. His ears folded and he soon shifted back into his smaller form.

"What do we do now?" Strawberry cookie asked, tears also beginning to build up as worry and tension increased.

"We must meet with... my father and the other hero's. Only they have the ability to stop Dark Enchatress cookie's plan... at least for now." The group looked at each other hesitance and worry smeared on their faces.

"Are you sure you want to see your dad again. You know you guys aren't on the best of terms.

Dark Choco cookie chuckled, "No we aren't. But I am the only one that knows where the hidden castle is. Besides I thinks it's time I see my father once again."

Gingerbrave stepped forward to help the former dark cookie onto his feet. Now leaning against him, the now 6 cookies waddled their way back to the cookie kingdom. Meanwhile Tighnari stayed where he was. Letting out whimpers at the thought of his owner being taken by that dark cookie. He immediately recognized the smell from the time when the Licorice cookie used Poison Mushroom's magic to disguise himself as Cotton cookie. So he followed the scent out into the forest but when he found Dark Choco instead of them, Tighnari couldn't help but grow increasingly nervous.

He was one simple fox and even though he had the ability to change into a powerful kitsune. Those powers were meaningless if he can't protect his owner.

As Tighnari continued to lay and cry, a squawk rang through the air. The now small fox looked up to see a small black bird fly in the direction of the mammal.

"Are you okay?" The Raven asked as Tighnari stayed laying on the ground.

"No," he answered directly, "Who are you?"

"My name is Oz. Now tell me why do you weep so?" Oz asked hopping over to the fox.

Tighnari whimpered, "My owner had been taken from me. And I have no idea where they went."

"Are you referring to (Y/N)?"

Tighnari's head shot up, "Yes. How do you know them?"

"I met them way before you two met. They had given me the biggest sunflower seed I had ever seen in my life..." Oz began to drool at the memory before quickly shaking her head, "I don't know if I should be saying this but, I met them during a visit to the human world. When (Y/N) was still in their human form."

"Oh... okay."

The raven's feathers ruffled in surprise, "... Okay? I have just revealed to you that your owner is a human..."
