Always and Forever (Lloyd x Female Reader)

(Season 4) Chapter 40

"Did too!" Jay nudged him back, and they continued going at each other until Jay's biscuits and drinks fell.

"A crime against creamy biscuits!" (Y/N) exclaimed. "How dare you, Jay!"

"It was Cole!" he yelled.

"It's your tray!" Cole retorted, causing them to argue once again.

"(Y/N), stop being childish," Lloyd groaned.

"Sorry," she said, sending him a sheepish smile.

"The tournament will test them," Garmadon said, turning to face her and Lloyd. "Either find a way for them to make peace, or neither of them will move on."

Chen's annoying voice came over the speakers, ruuinning their day. "The tournament of Elements continues!" he said, the excitement clear in his voice. "Fun time! Would the following Masters please make their way to their assigned arena?" He called out the Masters by their Elements. "Speed, Gravity, Smoke, Nature, Mind, oh, and last and hopefully not least..."

"Huh, maybe we all got the day off," Jay said with a hopeful smile.

"...Fire!" Kai gasped and (Y/N)'s head swivelled toward him.

"You spoke too soon, Jay," she mumbled.

"Remember, only one can remain!" Chen exclaimed.

(Y/N) admired the pink Sakura blossom tree in front of them, trying to become comfortable on the spectator benches at the same time.

Chen sat in his chair in the middle of the benches, and Clouse stood beside him, his hands folded behind his back.

An Anacondrai Cultist banged on drums as Chen announced the Masters that would be fighting. "Turner, Master of Speed, versus Gravis, Master of Gravity," Chen called out as the fighters stood below the tree. "Fight!"

Turner used his Speed to climb the tree to get the Jadeblade at the top while Gravis used his powers to float toward it.

Gravis eventually took the strategy of slowing Turner and searched for him while the said man teased the other Master.

"What? Can't keep up?" Turner kept moving between the branches of the tree while Gravis tried to keep track, leaping after him. "I'm over here!" Turner jumped onto Gravis, knocking him back against a branch for a moment. "Can't catch me." He grabbed a branch and released it, causing it to smack Gravis in the face.

(Y/N) winced. "That must hurt."

Gravis used his powers to levitate some broken blooms, causing Turner to look around himself in panic. "This doesn't look good."

Gravis threw the blooms at him, while Turner yelled out in surprise as the blooms stuck to him.

Eventually, he got unstuck and ran for the Jadeblade. Gravis used his powers to levitate the Jadeblade and bring it toward him, but Griffin jumped in the way and caught it instead.

"Yeah!" he cheered for himself.

"Woohooo!" (Y/N) yelled, jumping in her seat from the excitement.

Her friends shot her unamused looks. "You're supposed to be on our side, (Y/N)," Cole grumbled.

"He's my friend," she argued. "I have a right to be happy."

"Winner!" Chen announced, gesturing toward Griffin and Gravis. "Loser!" He pressed a button on his chair, causing a trapdoor to open beneath Gravis, but he smirked because he remained floating. Chen pressed another button, and a sandbag out of nowhere dropped on top of Gravis, dropping him into the trapdoor.
