8.Me'suum'ika (Moon)

Tech nodded vaguely. "And this device will determine if that will happen to us." He replies, bringing another tool to the scanner. "Besides, the ship-wide diagnostic report indicated no critical systems were compromised."

The ship then jolted violently, the blue hyperspace streaks flickering before disappearing, the speed of the ship decreasing massively as they fell out of hyperspace. Malaina's eyes widened and she gripped the bottom of her seat tighter as she watched a dark moon come into view, the Marauder set to crash on the obviously desolate surface.

Hunter made his way into the cockpit, grabbing onto the back of Malaina's seat with one hand while the other reached out to the other chair. "Getting thrown out of hyperspace. I'd say that's pretty critical, Tech." He muttered as he approached the pilot's seat when the ship stopped shaking.

The alarms never shut off and the lights never stopped flashing, but Tech moved calmly and confidently. "It's not affecting life support. We're fine."

Malaina grinned and shook her head at Tech's briefness, enjoying how different his presence in the Force was compared to Hunter's currently. The Sergeant was stressed out and the goggled clone was just calm.

"Are you kidding me?" Hunter said stressfully, jaw clenching as his grip tightened on the back of Tech's chair.

Echo plugged his scomp into the ship, quickly gaining information. "The power capacitor's blown. We need to land immediately." He urged. Hunter whirled around and sat in the chair next to Malaina's.

Wrecker and Omega sat in the row of seats in the hull, which thankfully had straps so the kid would be protected in the crash.

Echo grunts in frustration. "I can't see anything!" He muttered as they entered the moon's atmosphere. It was full of gray clouds and fog, the surface nowhere in sight.

"Hang on." Malaina closed her eyes gently, tapping into the Force, feeling that familiar cold rush as she asked the midi-chlorians for guidance. She exhaled calmly through her nose, tuning out the blaring alarms and racing heartbeats. She sensed the surface, her brief meditation proving to be useful. "Now!" She shouted.

Tech pulled on the yoke, the ship pulling up slightly, allowing the landing gear of the Marauder to get a good angle as he swiftly landed on the surface of the seemingly uninhabited dark and cold moon. It wasn't very gentle, the landing was quite rough, but they made it without dying.

That's always good.

Hunter was the first to rise from his seat, scanning the ship. "Everybody alright?" He asked, exhaling sharply as he made his way into the hull to help Omega unstrap.

"Is it...over?" Omega asked, peeling her eyes open, hands keeping an iron grip on her seat.

Malaina took a deep breath, doing a once-over on herself. She was fine. And it seemed everyone else was too.

She rose from her seat, walking over to the space between Tech and Echo. She crossed her arms, squinting out at the foggy atmosphere. "What isolated moon have we crashed onto?" She questioned.

Tech had just checked their location mere seconds ago. He glanced up at her, adjusting his goggles that had slightly slipped out of place in the not-so-smooth landing. "A moon named Ordo. And it is in fact uninhabited by any sentient beings." He replied, reaching out to press a few buttons.

Echo got up out of his seat and made his way to the hull where he quickly got to work on the computer. He muttered something about a storm approaching, which could possibly lead to a bigger problem.

"Need some help?" Malaina asked Tech as she rolled her sleeves up past her elbows.

Tech's mouth parted slightly and then he nodded, explaining what needed to be done.

Luckily the Inquisitor was quite handy, so she quickly started her assignment, sitting on the floor beside Tech as they both worked in silence.

"The storm's getting worse. It's knocking out our comms." Echo mumbled, resting his elbow on the dash of the computer.

Tech came to a halt next to Malaina, eyes glued to his datapad. "I suspect one of our capacitors sustained damage during our firefight with the regs." He chimed.

Malaina raised an eyebrow. "What's a reg?"

"Regular clones." Wrecker said simply, crossing his arms over his chest.

Malaina hummed, nodding her head in understanding. Because the Bad Batch was defective. They were different from all the other clones. The regulars.

"We won't be able to take off without replacing it." Tech then adds, peeling his eyes from the bright screen. "Inventory analysis indicates we have one spare onboard."

Omega grunts, pulling out a long black case that makes a loud thud as it hits the ground. "Is it in here?" She asks.

Malaina shook her head. "Capacitor's not that big, right?" She asked, turning to the others only to see them all frozen, staring at the case that laid on the ground.

Hunter dropped his arms to his side. "That's Crosshair's weapon kit." He explained quietly.

Malaina's lips thinned into a line and she trailed back into the cockpit, sitting back down in the chair. That probably was a conversation they didn't want her to hear, so she tuned out all sounds to mind her business while the soldiers and Omega talked.

A few minutes later Hunter came into the cockpit, his face pinched together in displeasure. He gently swatted Malaina's shoulder with the back of his hand to get her attention, catching her zoned out state.

She realizes that Tech and Echo have gone outside to check on the Marauder's exterior damage, which left Malaina with the three people she wasn't sure how to behave around.

She wasn't quite sure what Hunter thought of her, she wasn't allowed around Omega, at least she still thinks, and Wrecker was busy rubbing his head and wincing every few minutes.

So Malaina stayed quiet, hands folded in her lap as she continued to feel out of place.

"What's wrong with you?" Hunter asks as Wrecker comes into the cockpit, collapsing into a seat while being very verbal with his pain.

Wrecker waved his hand, feigning his discomfort. "Oh, I must've hit my head in the crash." He replied, wincing again. "Ow."

Echo and Tech soon returned inside of the Marauder, taking the clear masks off that filtered the moon's toxic air. Tech glanced down at the device on his wrist. "The capacitor's in place, but other systems are now failing." He mutters.

Echo takes a step closer to Hunter. "Something's causing damage to the exterior hull." He announces, the wrinkles on his face currently more prominent to show how stressed the poor man was.

Hunter raised an eyebrow. "Wanna narrow that down?"

The ship's lights cut off completely, and Malaina accidentally bumped shoulders with Tech, muttering a soft apology as she trailed closer to the windshield after sensing an animalistic presence. "Some kind of scaled creature with sharp claws." She chimes to answer Hunter's question.

"How do you know that?" Tech asks, inching closer to her. Malaina wordlessly points out the glass at the four foot long creature that held their only capacitor in its mouth.

"Oh."
