"Grudge-bearing types aren't popular with the ladies, Shark Teeth." Reo teases with a smirk.

"Shut it. I can't let my soccer career end with me being a defender in a game like this!" Raichi wraps his arms around Reo's chest and torso, stopping him.

"Zantetsu!" Reo exclaims and passes the ball to Zantetsu who quickly receives it.

"Leave it to me. I'll slice open a path to the goal again." Zantetsu says and takes off.

"Oh no you don't!" You quickly run after him and catch up to him easily. "Thank you for sharing steak with me but, I have to get you, speedy specs!"

"Pinky, you're not as slow as redhead," Zantetsu says. "Guess this isn't gonna work. Nagi!" Zantetsu passes the ball to Nagi just as you were about to take it.

Once Nagi gets the ball, he turns around, surprising Asahi and Igarashi who were behind him. "From there?!" You exclaim with shock written all over your face.

Nagi kicks the ball and ends up hitting Igarashi right in the face causing Igarashi to fall while the ball flies up into the air.

"Igarashi?!" You exclaim, concerned for your friend.

"I blocked it! With my face!" Igarashi says proudly.

"Good blocking!" Bachira compliments Igarashi as he gets the ball

"One more goal and we're tied!" Asahi exclaims. "Kunigami's shot was totally awesome!"

"Why didn't you tell us you had such an amazing no-spin mid-range shot? Superhero Gains-kun!" Igarashi smiles.

"No... I just focused on how I made contact with the ball more than usual. And I feel like I experienced a new sensation for scoring." Kunigami answers as he looks at his hand.

"So you broke through for real! Still, that was amazing!"

"Isagi-kun!!!" You exclaim as you engulf him in a hug while all your teammates run over to you both.

"Nicely done!"

"Full time." The woman's voice comes through on the intercom. "Team Z wins 4-5."

You turn away from all the cheering to lock eyes with Kuon who was standing in the hallway, looking at the scene with a smile. "Hey, Kuon-kun." You jog over to him with a smile. "What are you doing? Come join us!"

"Huh? No, I..."

"Why not? We won!" You smile.

"Don't go forgivin' him so easily, Pinky." Raichi puts a hand on your shoulder. "He's still a traitor, and I ain't lettin' him off the hook." Raichi takes his hand off your shoulder and decides to look at Kuon. "But y'know, if ya hadn't flattened Nagi, we had no chance of winning. So yeah..." Raichi puts a hand forward. "C'mere, traitor."

"WHAT?! Raichi-kun being nice?! It's so—" You put your hands on both sides of your face with a blush on your cheeks, but suddenly Raichi makes his hand into a fist and punches Kuon in the face, surprising everyone and Kuon falls to the ground.

"I'm gonna hate ya for the rest of my life! That's for betraying us, and we're even now. Y'hear, ya piece of trash?!" Raichi turns around and faces everyone else. "You with me, guys?!"

"Woo!"

"Yeah!"

"Man, talk about self-centered."

"Are you okay, Kuon-kun?" You sweatdrop as you move Kuon's hair out his face just to see his eyes.

"Come on. Let's head back." Kunigami smiles.

"Right," Kuon says as he takes your offer to help him up.

"All of Building 5's matches have been completed. We will now announce the results of the first selection. The results of the five-team round-robin are as follows: In first place: Team V. Eleven players progress. In second place: Team Z. Twelve players progress. And the top scorers of the disqualified teams. Three players progress."

"Wanima. Niko! Barou." You read the names aloud as they pop up on the screen.

"These 25 players advance to Building 5's second Blue Lock selection."

"Hell yeah!"

"We survived!"

"You guys go on without me, I want to talk with someone!" You say to your team as they all nod and move on. "Tsurugi-kun!" You call out to the male and he jumps a bit, surprised by your voice.

"Pinky?" He questions. You stop in front of him as you notice the glare you receive from Reo while Nagi just gives you a bored look.

"Heh, actually, my name's Y/n L/n! You can call me Y/n!" You smile at the male. "Your play really impressed me, I mean it's a pretty big deal seeing someone who's actually faster than Chigiri-kun! And you were really determined which was so cool!" You say with a blush.

"I, uh.." He stares at you, unable to form words. Reo walks over to his friend, whispers something in his ear then walks away with Nagi. "Thank you." He says although it sounded more like it was a question than an answer.

"No problem! I look forward to playing against you more! Even in the outside world!" You smile as Zantetsu nods.

"I look forward to playing against you too," Zantetsu says with a small smile.

"Kay' bye-bye!" You wave and run away from the male and begin making your way back to your team.

DE END. I USUALLY GET A CHAPTER OR CHAPTERS OUT AT LEAST ON THE WEEKENDS BUT I HAVEN'T BEEN DOING SO LATELY, SO LIKE, SORRY😭

Anyways, when exactly do you guys want Chigiri and Y/n to find out about each other's feelings? I haven't been writing much action between them lately and that's because of the games y'know? Also, there's nothing romantic going on between Y/n and Zantetsu, I just thought it would be cute to build a small platonic relationship between them since I like Zantetsu a lot!

I would usually write out everything about the games but I decided splitting it up would be easier for me and maybe you guys would like less action in the games? And I like wrote A LOT like A LOT but my 抖阴社区 was tripping a bit, but I decided to ignore it bc like it does that sometimes, and then it exits me off the fucking app without saving what I wrote and I'm sorry but I could not type all that out again but I also wanted to really get a chapter out today so yeah😭
