As the night drew to a close, Theodore reached across the table, taking Pansy's hand in his. "I had a wonderful time tonight," he said softly. "I'm grateful you gave me another chance."
Pansy's heart skipped a beat, her eyes sparkling. "I'm grateful I did too." she replied sincerely.
They shared a lingering gaze, a mix of excitement and tenderness filling the air.
Pansy leaned in, a wide smile on her face and Theo reciprocated the move till there was only an inch of space separating them. That was when Pansy's eyes wandered to a familiar form in the back.
"Addy?" Pansy whispered, more to herself, surprised.
"What?!" Theo says, flabbergasted.
"It is Addy. You idiot," Pansy grumbled, getting up.
"Me? Huh?" Theo asked quickly, getting up to follow Pansy.
"No— I mean, there," Pansy pointed towards a figure which kept slightly disappearing into a pillar.
"Ohhhh. She's here for you?" Theo asks.
"No, she mentioned something about—" Pansy absent-mindedly says, her eyes travelling around the restaurant and AHA! She found the blond with his back against the pillar, with a familiar looking girl.
"Oh, wow, Draco's here." Theo exclaims. "And not alone."
"Yeah. Any idea who she is?" Pansy asks.
"No. She looks familiar though. I can't tell with her back faced towards us."
"Can't you look closer? I really need to know," Pansy nearly whines.
"Anything for you, M'lady." Theo says, in a perfectly fake french accent, getting up. He walked towards Draco's table and yelled out his name.
"Draco! Mate! Didn't know you were coming here." Theo calls out, making everyone at the restaurant look at them.
"Uh, yeah. I'm here with someone." Draco says, rather rudely.
"That is fabulous indeed. And who is this, might I ask?" Theo asks, trying to look at the girl.
"Maddy. Maddy, Theo." Draco gestured between the two.
"Nice to meet you. You’re a lucky gal. Draco doesn't usually bring his women to such a fancy place on the first date." Theo says with a menacing smile while Draco shoots him a mad look but the girl only responded in a laugh.
"Draco's my cousin. You got a thing for him or something?" She asked, her eyebrow raised.
"WHAT?! No. I have exceptional taste so of course not. How dare you?" Theo says, pretending to gag. "I have to go. My girlfriend is waiting for me." He completes with a huge smile and walks away.
"Is that his girlfriend? She's pretty." Maddy says, placing her face in her propped up arms.
"She's a good friend of mine." Draco says.
"Immediately a red flag on her part." She gasps.
"Oh, stop it." He said, rolling his eyes.

"Turns out, it was his cousin!" Audrey dramatically exclaimed, imitating an explosion with her hands.
"Damn!" Ginny replied. "So all that for nothing?"
"Yeah, I mean atleast I know he's kinda close with his cousin so I can get close with her and get to him," Audrey says, suddenly going into brainstorming mood.
"No, that's just weird." Ginny says.
"Ugh. Why do you have to be the yin to my yang?" Audrey drones.
"No idea, s'pose it’s some weird fate thing."
"S'pose so."
"S'pose."
"Ss."
"S."
"Suppose."
"S'po—"
"STOP." Lavender's voice boomed through the wall from the other dorm, making both the girls burst out laughing.
