Chapter 16: Some Past Facts

All this time, Karishma was completely lost somewhere. She didn't paid any attention towards Haseena's words. Haseena shook her hardly and again asked," Karishma...."

Ks came into reality, and saw Haseena in front of her. She cleared her throat and said, " Hum...hum bilkul thik hai Madd...Haseena..., Vo hum bs bike se gir gye, to thodi mitti lag gyi, Nothing else".
Haseena then also asked the same thing, " Kya, aap bike se gir gyi....aaram se chalaya kariye na fir, Are u sure....aapko nhi lagi..." and checked her again worriedly.

Karishma sensed worriness in her voice, and looked in her eyes, were she saw extreme care and love for her. She was overwhelmed by the love, tears came into her eyes. When finally their eyes met, haseena became more tensed when she saw tears forming in Karishma's eyes.

She asked lovingly, looking directly in her eyes, " K..Karishma....aap...."
And at this moment, Karishma lost her control. She hugged Haseena tightly, keeping her head on her shoulders. The border was trying not to break in front of Haseena, was broken.

Haseena was shocked by the sudden utmost and unexpected reaction, from the person with a extreme capability to control their feelings. After some seconds, she also wrapped her arms around the individual, who's now in her arms. She sensed that Karishma is in very low state, so she delayed the question of progress on the case. Because at this moment, at this place, nothing seemed more important to her than to soothe Karishma.

She rubbed her back slowly by one hand, and kept caressing her hairs by other one. Karishma leaned more on Haseena feeling the warmth of care. After sometime, Haseena asked in a low voice, " Karishmaa..."

" Hmm..." She replied.

" Kuch hua hai kya....kisi ne kuch kha, yaa fir kuch aur...hme batayie please...
Hum hmesa aapke sath hai....ye baat yaad rkhiye..hmm". Haseena said in a soothing voice. " Hmm..." Karishma replied closing her eyes. Haseena understood that she doesn't want to talk right now, so she just kept caressing her hairs. This hug was giving relieveness to her also.

Few minutes passed, and finally Karishma broke the hug, looking at the floor. Before Haseena could ask something else, she went to her room saying, " Hum freshen up ho ke aate hai Haseena....Please do order the food, will be back shortly...". Haseena watched her going to her room in a confused state.

Karishma went inside the room, locked the door, went swiftly towards her bed, thinking again about the info she got....

{" Bht ache Peter, jald se jald Noor ka pta kro, hum usse Milne ke liye betab hai...."}

She was so confused what to do now, and her mind was moving spirally. She hold her forehead with her hands, and thought why she was being affected again and again, by just a mere mention of her name....But what they want to do with her, what is her connection with the boss, why he want her......

"Ahhhhhhhh.....This is so frustrating..."

" I'm tired of feeling like this, wish I could turn off my heart, and get some relief from this pain, but it's hard not to count the minutes when they seem to go by so slowly....
I am trying and trying....but failing and failing again since 15 years of our seperation...." She was mumbling, complaining herself, until she heard a knock on her door. She looked towards the door, took deep breaths composing herself, and said, " Coming in 5 min..."

They sat together surrounding the table having their dinner. The atmosphere was completely silent. Haseena was watching Karishma's every movement, waiting to hear some explanation, but nothing came. Suddenly Karishma asked about the progress of case, to which haseena nodded negatively and she also did the same.

" Ab aage kya kre Haseena...abhi tk to koi strong information ya clue nhi mila...kaise pkrenge un haramiyon ko..."
Karishma asked desperately, ignoring completly whatever happened some moments ago.

" You are absolutely right Karishma, hme jald se jald kuch affective step lena pdega aur uski update deni pdega...hmare paas jyada time nhi hai...aapke paas kuch idea hai?"
Haseena said.

" Haseena hmne ek info mili hai, aur wo kitni pakki aur schi hai ye kl Tak hum pta lga lenge, fir hum apko Puri baat batayenge....Aapka kya plan hai aage ka..." Karishma asked while eating.

" Bht ache...humne bhi ek choti si koshish kri hai....agar wo kamyaab ho jayegi, to hume bht bara clue mil skta hai...bs kaam kr jaye..." Haseena said in her style with a short smile on her face.

They finished their dinner, and Haseena thought to now discuss the topic of Karishma, but before she can say something , Karishma said, " Good night Haseena, ache se soyiega..." and went towards her room. Haseena knew something was wrong with her but what, why she was acting weird. She stood there for few moments figuring out what can happen, but then went towards her room, finding no answer.

She sat on her bed, keeping her head on the headrest, slightly tensed about Karishma's actions, but thought to figure it out later. She took her phone, opened her gallery, and saw the most valuable picture she owns. She smiled while caressing the pic of her little karu, standing holding her hand tightly.
She said while looking at it lovingly,

" I thought of you again today
but that is nothing new,
I thought about you yesterday
and many days too
I thought of you in silence
I often speak your name
I search you in every person I meet
But all I have are memories
and a photo of you in my phone
Your memories are a keepsake from which I will never part "

"Today when I hold Karishma in my arms , I felt like I got a part of you from the whole of you that I hold in my heart"

Her thoughts got disturbed by a notification. She quickly opened the app from which the notification came, and she saw a recording . She listened the recording carefully and her eyes widened...........
