Chapter 3

"Wow! It's so much better than mine!" Y/n added with fake sadness.

Mikey's eyes shifted to his plate before he slammed his hands on the table and wore a huge, dorky smile.

"Wah! As expected of Ken-chin!" He exclaimed.

"No need to be so childish, N/n. You got a flag, so be thankful." He continued, puffing his chest as he began to munch on his food.

"Yeah..." Y/n sweat dropped, sipping her drink.

Ding!

Pulling out her phone, Y/n read a message before typing a response. Draken couldn't help but notice the semi-wide smile on her face.

"Who you texting there?" Draken asked.

"Hm?" Y/n blinked, looking up from her screen.

"You're smiling." Mikey pointed out, food filling some of his mouth.

"Ah. Really?" Y/n hummed, scratching her cheek.

"So? Who is it?" Draken asked.

"Well...That's a secret!" Y/n stuck her tongue out while giving a peace-sign.

"Ugh! You've done it again! Shut the fuck up, Mikey!" Draken shouted, clearly annoyed.

Snore!

Y/n drowsily rubbed her eyes and slapped her face, glancing at Mikey who was laying his head on her lap, clearly asleep.

"You need to stop falling asleep right after eating. And don't you dare fall asleep, Y/n. I can't carry the both of you." Draken exhaled as he stood.

"I'm not sleepy at all. Nothing to worry about, Kenny." Y/n slurred, slapping herself even harder.

"I can't eat another bite..." Mikey snored.

"Jeez. Can't be helped then." Draken sighed, sightly kneeling and placing Mikey onto his back.

Y/n scooted out of the booth and continued to rub her eyes with one hand while the other gripped onto Draken's cardigan. Draken guided her while tightly holding onto Mikey, carefully that the girl wouldn't bump into anything and that the boy wouldn't fall onto the ground.

This continued as they walked the peaceful streets, up until arriving at a large building.

"Mikey, we're here." Draken said, slightly shaking the boy.

"Hm?" Mikey drowsily hummed, lifting his head to look around.

"A hospital?" Y/n blinked.

"Yeah." Draken nodded as they approached the entrance.

"What business do we have here?" Mikey asked.

Draken was silent for a moment before saying, "You'll see."

Soon enough, after entering and walking the silent halls, they stopped at a room where the window was open, revealing a patient who laid with different wires around her unconscious body.

"Who's this?" Mikey questioned.

"Pah's best friend's girlfriend." Draken answered.

Y/n pursed her lips as she stared at the girl, more specifically the wounds that peeked from beneath the blanket and her hospital gown.

"She has 7 stitches in her head, broken teeth, the retina in her left eye has been detached, her ribs were broken due to the beatings she sustained, and she hasn't regained consciousness even after 5 days." Draken spoke as the other two silently listened.
