"You're insufferable." He chuckled, pushing his star glasses up. "Hm? What was that you said?" You leaned in closer, pretending you didn't hear what he said. "I said...I can take ya t' see Roxy later if ya want..." He trailed off.

"Are you still glitchy?" You asked, looking through his wires and systems to see if you had missed anything. No way he was being 'nice' to you. He swatted your hands away.

"Nothin's wrong with me! I may or may not...feel bad...fer throwin' things atcha..." He mumbled, avoiding your gaze.

"Awwwwww, that's so thoughtful of you." You teased, booping his nose. He swatted your hands away once again. "Holy shit, you're worse than most the kids I deal with. And ya make me sound like a heartless beast." He snorted, pushing away your hands that kept trying to pat his snout.

"Heartless beasts throw tables at their best friends." You sassed with a fake frown. "Heartless beasts eat their friends, which is gonna happen shortly if ya keep tryin' t' grope my face." He hissed. "I'm your friend?!? I'm so honored." You said, still attempting to pat his nose.

"No. Ya completely missed my point." He deadpanned, pushing you away from him as if you were a little kid.

He then randomly let go of your hands suddenly, making you fall.

You heard Monty's laugh, his genuine laugh. It was so contagious you found yourself sitting up and laughing with him.

"Alright let's have ya meet Roxy." Monty laughed, wiping a fake tear.

You speed up and drifted around the corner, regaining first place. Roxy's caretaker, Scarlet, had talked everyone into a go-cart race. So here you were, racing all the animatronics and their caretakers, and you were winning.

You heard someone gaining on you. You looked in the side mirror and saw Roxy hot on your trail. You sped up trying to maintain first place. You were so focused on Roxy, you didn't notice Scarlet passing you. "What?" You say to yourself, wondering how she caught up so quickly.

There was one lap left now, so you had to hurry. You heard another car approach you. "You're bad at this." Monty snickered, his cart next to yours. "Well you don't seem to be doing any better than me." You retorted.

He shrugged before doing a gear shift, speeding ahead of you. "Of course." You sighed, flooring it to avoid anyone else passing you. The finish line was just up ahead, and you just needed to pass Scarlet and Monty.

All of a sudden, you see Chica speed around the upcoming corner, driving in the opposite direction towards you.

"SHIT." Scarlet cursed, swerving out of the way.

Chica was screaming the whole time, clearly she wasn't the best driver.

She hit Monty, making him spin out.

Yes. Nothing was stopping you from winning now.

Well...until there was a shadow over your head.

You look up and see a cart flying overhead and over the finish line before you.

The cart crashed to the floor, tumbling around before rolling to a stop. You stopped your car and got out to see who crashed. You ran up and saw an empty go-cart...decorated in gator print.

You hear a laugh behind you and turn to see Monty.

"What the hell?" You say, looking from the empty cart to the animatronic that supposedly spun out. "H-how did you even...?" You start, too shocked to say anything. Everyone else had finished and ran over.

"MONTY HOW THE HELL DID YOU THROW YOUR CART OVER THE FINISH LINE?!?" Roxy yelled, taking her red helmet off. You looked at him in shock.

"...He threw his cart over the fish line?" You repeated, not able to process the loss.

"But that's cheating!" Freddy said, throwing his arms in the air. "My cart still crossed the finish line, didn't it?" Monty shrugged, giving you his best shit-eating grin. "No, no, no, I was gonna win- I was gonna cross that finish line!" You raised your voice.

Your overly-competitive side had come out, and you refused to lose to Montgomery Gator. OUT OF ALL ROBOTS, WHY THE ONE YOU DISLIKE THE MOST?

"Well, not everythin' in life turns out the way ya want it to sweetheart." Monty lectured you, his stupid grin still on his face. Sweetheart? Seriously?!? You thought, scoffing.

"This is the funniest shit to watch." Scarlet laughed, looking at Ann and Austin who were both holding in a laugh.

Monty never took his eyes off you, he wanted to rub this in as much as he could. And you hated every second of it. "Mark my words Montgomery. this. is. not. over." You said, pointing a finger at him. "Someone's awfully competitive~" Monty taunted, wiggling his eyebrows up and down at you.

You felt your eye twitch.

"Am I the only one picking up sexual tension between the two or is just me?" Roxy said randomly, earning mixed reactions of annoyed groans and laughs. Scarlet threw her head back, her brown eyes shut from hysteric laughter. You, Austin, and Freddy didn't seem too amused while everyone else was laughing.

"Don't take it too personally Y/n, we're just fuckin' with ya." Scarlet punched your shoulder playfully, her red curls falling onto her face. "Yeah, just a joke, nothing serious." Austin reassured you with a smile. You nodded your head, still mad at a Monty for winning.

"Anyway, I'm gonna go grab something to eat before I clock out, anyone coming with?" You ask around. "I'll go." Austin smiled, Scarlet also nodding her head in agreement. "Yeah let's go I'm dying." Scarlet said while grabbing you and Austin, dragging you both out.

Monty's POV

The look on Y/n's face when I won is something I will forever relish. The way all their hopes and dreams of winning were immediately crushed fills me with content greatly.

Did I actually enjoy my night? That was a first. Maybe I need to mess around with Y/n more, they weren't too bad for a caretaker.

Better than the fuckheads I had before 'em anyway.

I guess.

Plus all these chapters are short af. So if this chapter doesn't make sense and seems rushed, it's bc the author was slap-happy and literally couldn't think straight.
