"Y/n the dress looks so cute on you!" Mabel squealed.
"Oh right, sorry. Y/n these are my best friends! Candy and Grenda! Candy and Grenda, this is my little sister Y/n!" Mabel said, finishing the introductions.
"Nice to meet you!" I said smiling brightly.
"What are you dressed as?" Candy asked.
"I'm a princess! But," I turned to Mabel, "I need help. I want to put my hair in (favorite hair style), but I can't do it! I also want to put on my tiara but I don't know how." I said, sounding defeated and asking for help.
"OH MY GOD!" Candy and Grenda screamed.
"We'll do it for you!" Mabel said, squealing again but this time with her friends.
Next thing I knew I had my hair done, my tiara on, and Mabel and her friends were getting dressed.
This year Mabel and Dipper were going to be Peanut Butter and Jelly, Mabel was the Jelly of course. They always wore matching outfits since I can remember! Some years I would match with them, others where they were scary I wouldn't; like that one time they were zombies.
I ran downstairs before Mabel, her friends, Dipper, and Grunkle Stan finished getting into costumes. Soos was in the kitchen doing who knows what.
I ran to the couch and got comfortable, now waiting for my family. Although Mabel and Dipper were allowed to go Trick or Treating without an adult, I had to go with someone.
Before anyone was done, I heard a knock on the door.
*Knock knock*
I got up and ran to the door, opening it up with a smile. On the other side of the door was Bill!
"Oh hey Bill!" I said, happily hugging my stuffed animal.
"Hey (symbol)! You look great!" he said, looking at my costume.
When he said this I took a look at his. He was dressed in a black and yellow prince outfit with his signature black bow tie, top hat, black gloves and an eyepatch covering one of his yellow eyes.
"I love your costume! We match!" I squealed as he gave me a chuckle.
"It appears we do! What a coincidence." he said the last part much more sinister, but I didn't mind.
"I was wondering if you would want to go Trick or Treating with me?" he asked me with a happy smile.
"I would love too! I just got to let my family know!" I said cheerfully because I could go trick or treating with my best friend.
"Sure! Go right ahead!" he said as I thanked him and closed the door.
Mabel and Grunkle Stan came down, along with Mabel's friends.
"Hey Mabel? Grunkle Stan? Can I go trick or treating with a friend tonight?" I asked with puppy dog eyes.
"I don't see why not!" Grunkle Stan said with a silly voice as he always has.
"No problem! What's your friends name? You never talked about making a friend here, and you talk about everything to me!" she said with a sly grin while giving me a wink.
"Oh! His name is-" I stopped. I tried saying his name, I knew it in my head! Why can't I say it!? I thought. That's when I remembered from a few days ago, the dream I had. "Promise you won't tell people about me?" Bill had asked me. "Promise!" I said as I had shook his hand. Huh, but I thought it was just a dream? And that still doesn't explain why I can't say his name. Maybe it is my brain telling me I shouldn't brake my promise. Yeah, that's it! Also I can't believe I almost broke it! Ugh, think of something..
*Knock knock*
I heard a knock at the door, it saved me! I thought with relief.
"Oh! That must be him! Sorry, I'll tell you later!" I said, almost running out the door.
"Okay! Have fun!" I could hear Mabel call out as I closed the door.
"Sorry to keep you waiting." I said to Bill as we started walking to a near by house with our Jack o' Melon baskets ready for candy.
"Oh no, it's fine. You didn't tell them about me though, right?" he asked, almost growling the last part.
"Don't worry! I can keep a secret!" I said, giggling.
We made it to the first house, and I rang the doorbell.
An old lady dressed as a ball of yarn with cats on her shoulder answered the door.
I giggled "I like your costume miss!" I said with a big smile.
"Well aren't you just the cutest little thing!" she said, dumping some candy in my Jack o' Melon.
"Thank you!" I said, starting to skip off.
When we got back to the side walk and we started going to the next house, I started comparing candies with Bill; only to see that the lady didn't give him any!
"Bill, did she not give you candy?" I asked with a pout and sad eyes.
"Yeah, but it's fine! People don't notice me anyways." he said looking at me with a small grin.
"Don't worry! You'll get some candy from the next house!" I said, happily skipping off to the next house.
"Hehe, yeah.. the next house." he said, looking to the ground.
I rang the doorbell again, and this time a tall man dressed up as a pirate opened the door.
"Trick or treat! Do you like our matching costumes?" I said with a grin, pointing at Bill.
The man at the door look at us funny, "Cute costume! But where's the person you're matching with?" he said while staring at us.
I turned to Bill, who was still clearly there, I got confused.
"What are you talking about? He's right here!" I said, still confused.
The man at the door continued to look at us funny, then gave me some candy, and closed the door.
As we started to walk away, I started to get sad.
"Why was he acting so weird? You were right there! How could he not have seen you?" I asked, pouting and starting to cry for my new friend.
"Hey, (symbol), I don't know but please don't cry over this? See? I'm fine." he said, giving me a warm smile.
We continued trick or treating, and at every house no one gave Bill candy. I felt horrible that I was getting candy and he wasn't. He looked fine, but I still couldn't stand it.
When it got late, he walked me back to my house. Before I knocked at the door, I squeezed my F/SA, looked down at the necklace and then Bill.
Before Bill could say goodbye, I dumped half of my candy into his Jack o' Melon. He looked shocked, and somewhat dumbfounded. I looked at him with my big, doe, E/c eyes.
"W-what? Why?" he asked me, confused.
"Because even though you don't seem bothered, I didn't want my friend to go home without any candy! If they won't give you candy, then I will!" I said proudly.
Bill looked at me. "Thank you (symbol). Goodnight." he said with a smile as he walked off with his candy.
I smiled in the distance, watching him walk off, as I knocked on the door.
I watched a smiling Dipper open the door, as he let me inside.
