?Chapter 2: Ocean Wonders?

Aya walked up to Neteyam. "Come, I will show you" Neteyam smiled back at her before following her to an open area. Aya slowly stopped in the water before clicking softly. An Ilu surfaced, clicking back with excitement as it swam and spun around the two.

Aya giggled softly as the Ilu came to a stop beside her. "The Ilu is a gentle creature, not harmful to us" She spoke softly, stroking the Ilu's neck, looking up to Neteyam. "Come" She gestured to the Ilu's back where a woven saddle rests.

Neteyam walked to the Ilu and slowly hopped onto it's back. "You okay?" Aya asked, making sure he was comfortable on the top. "Yea" He spoke looking down to her as she nodded and grabbed the Ilu's antenna like piece holding it with one of her hands. "Make the bond slowly" She spoke. Neteyam nodded and grabbed his braid before slowly making Tsaheylu.

The Ilu's pupils grew and it slightly jolted in the water as they made the bond. Aya calmed the Ilu, slowly petting its neck. "Feel her breathe, Feel her emotions" Neteyam had his eyes closed as he listened to her words. He opened his eyes. "Hold here tightly as to not fall" She gestured to the little woven handle connecting the Ilu's two antenna.

Aya backed up allowing Neteyam to get ready. He looked to Aya one last time before gripping the handle and leaning forwards. The Ilu then swam forwards at a decent pace, moving more underwater as the shallow end decreased.

Aya watched from the sidelines as they went underwater. Aya slowly crouched to see underwater but as she did he had fallen off and surfaced. She stood up straight and laughed. "Almost" She said to him. He spun to look at her with a smirk. "I was not, you know that"

Aya laughed again as he swam towards her. "Would you care to go again?" She smiled up at him. "Of course" He smiled down at her.

The forest siblings managed to get the hang of the Ilu as they all swam underwater on their separate Ilu's. Aya and Neteyam swam together, through the fish and around the coral. Aya smiled to him as they circled a big coral structure, Neteyam couldn't stop the big smile as he followed Aya and her Ilu.

They both slowly swam around, Aya and her Ilu spinning up and over Neteyam as he followed her movements with a heartfelt smile. After her little spin, she swam forwards with speed as Neteyam laughed and followed after her.

It was moments like these that Neteyam didn't have in the forest. He suddenly enjoyed just being here, underwater on an Ilu with a beautiful girl.

The kids had soon found a rock structure and sat down in a circle. It consisted of Aya, Tsireya, Rotxo, Lo'ak, Kiri, and Neteyam. Aya was sitting to Neteyam's left.

"Breathe in.." Tsireya Spoke softly as they all followed suit. "..And breathe out" Tsireya finished. "Imagine flickering a flame" Aya had noticed Neteyam's struggles and offered to help.

She gently placed her left hand on his lower stomach while her other layed against his chest. His breathing faltered after feeling her touch. "Breathe in slowly" She spoke softly. Aya turned her attention to him as he listened. "Slow your heartbeat"

His heart was still beating fast from her touch which she could feel, "Your heart is beating too fast" Neteyam opened his eyes to look at her. "Sorry"

She smiled, telling him it was alright as he tried again. "There you go" She smiled as his heartbeat slowed. "You must slow your heart rate as to stay longer underwater" She softly spoke. Tsireya had been doing the same with Lo'ak. Rotxo looked to Kiri and snickered. Kiri only rolled her eyes at him.
