Chapter 21: "say that fucking word again and ill beat some manners into you."

"Sophie! Now." Katsuki said, he started walking towards the girl, Sophie being the stubborn girl she was put her foot down and actually put her foot down but it missed the stool seat and she stumbled into Izuku's arms.

"Crap!-" katsuki grunted as Sophie started to cry from the fear of almost falling.

Izuku held her in his arms hugging her to calm her down, "Shhh, it's alright, your okay." He mumbled rubbing circles onto her back, Katsuki rubbed his temples calming himself, "See if you just sat still." He said frustratedly, Izuku looked at the blonde then at the girls head, pulling her away from his embrace, "Sophie, you shouldn't be standing on the stools, you could have really hurt yourself." Izuku scolded, Sophie rubbed her teary eyes looking at the greenette, she sniffed a few times before she was picked up by strong hands putting her back onto the stool to face her father. "Are you okay..?" Katsuki asked as gently as he could in the moment, "...Mhmm..." Sophie hummed avoiding her fathers gaze, "Okay, how about we try this again? What do you want for breakfast?" Katsuki asked moving some loose strands of hair out of the girls face, Sophie stayed quiet, she met her fathers gaze, "I'm not giving you Ice Cream for breakfast, you'll feel sick." Katsuki stated,

Both their gazes shifted behind them, Izuku cleared his throat speaking up nervously, he didn't want to make the situation worse but he could at least try, "Eh-Hem... hey, hi, uh-umm what about a milkshake..?" Izuku suggested, meeting Katsukis gaze he winked with a small smile.

Confused the blonde tilted his head at this, Izuku got up from his seat walking passed the two, but stopped placing a hand on the blondes broad shoulders, he leaned in whispering in his ear, "don't worry, it's just a fruit smoothie." He then walked over to the fridge, Katsuki with no other option decided to deceive his daughter, "sure, how 'bout it kiddo..?" Katsuki asked, Sophie's frown immediately disappeared, she smiled widely at her father nodding, Izuku grabbed some strawberries and bananas from the fridge then placed them on the counter, "oh right! Sophie's not allergic to anything right?" Izuku asked katsuki, he didn't want to feed her something that'd kill her. Katsuki shook his head, "Nah, she's fine." He said watching the greenette work his magic, "Good, I probably should have asked that question a while ago." Izuku said feeling stupid, 

Izuku made the three of them some strawberry banana smoothies, but katsuki and Izuku kept calling them milkshakes because Sophie was persistent on eating a dessert for breakfast.

After they all finished their breakfast, Katsuki got Sophie ready for the day, he dressed her up in a long-sleeved shirt covered by a white knitted sweater, she wore some white stockings and a light purple skirt over them. He combed her curls out a little so they weren't as messy and fixed her newly cut bangs. If katsuki knew one thing, it'd be fashion, especially if his mother was coming over and saw that he stuck her in sweats he'd be bitched at for 'child neglect'.

Izuku had also got ready for his day, he didn't bother showering knowing he was going to the gym, he just threw on some red sweatpants and a black tank top that would be covered by a navy blue hoodie.

It was 12:26pm when a knock was heard at the door, Sophie, having no boundaries, was the first to run to the door and open it, she smiled widely seeing her grandmother, "NANA!" She  yelled, she stuck her arms up wanting to be held, "Sophie! How's my big girl?" Mitsuki asked picking up the girl. Mitsuki looked at the girl and her eyes widened, "You cut your hair? My, my, don't you look gorgeous!" Mitsuki complemented, Sophie smiled.

Katsuki came around the hallway corner walking over to the two.

"Katsuki, you just let your daughter answer the door now?" Mitsuki asked not impressed, Katsuki rolled his eyes, "you hag, I didn't let her do anything-" katsuki said taking Sophie from his mothers arms, he looked the girl in her eyes, "Isn't that right, Sophie? You know not to answer the door." Katsuki said sternly, Sophie nodded her head with a frown, "Sorry daddy." She muttered, Katsuki ruffled her hair then put her down, "go play, I gotta talk to Nana." Katsuki said shooing the girl, Sophie ran off to her room.
