Chapter 34- The Wrath of Molly Weasley

Start from the beginning

Fred looked up at Molly and as soon as he saw her face he said, "Oh, dear."

"So," she said.

"Morning, Mum," George said in an extremely high and strained voice. Boy was he nervous.

In a deadly whisper, Mrs. Weasley said, "Have you any idea how worried I've been?"

Ron cut in and said, "Sorry, Mum, but see, we had to—"

It was hilarious how Molly was shorter than all three of her sons yet had an extremely strong hold over them. Despite them all being taller, they still cowered as her rage broke over them.

"Beds empty! No note! Car gone— could have crashed— out of my mind with worry— did you care?— never, as long as I've lived— you wait until your father gets home, we never had trouble like this from Bill or Charlie or Percy—"

"Perfect Percy," Fred bitterly muttered.

"YOU COULD DO WITH TAKING A LEAF OUT OF PERCY'S BOOK!" Mrs. Weasley yelled. I winced as I could feel second-hand fear from the three Weasley boys. She angrily stepped towards Fred and prodded a finger at his chest saying, "You could have died, you could have been seen, you could have lost your father his job—"

She kept on going for what seemed for hours as she shouted herself hoarse. Finally, she turned to Harry and I with a generous smile, very unlike what she had given her boys. "I'm very pleased to see you both, Harry and Y/n. The two children I wish I had instead of those troublemakers," she said. Harry and I glanced at each other nervously, scared to invoke her rage. "Come in, have some breakfast."

She turned and walked into the house and the five of us followed suit. We all sat down at the table as Mrs. Weasley threw sausages into the frying pan and gave her sons the death glare every chance she got. Of course, she stopped every time she made eye contact with Harry and I.

As she served an incredible amount of sausages on Harry and I's plates she assured us we had done nothing wrong and said, "I don't blame you two, dears. Arthur and I have been worried about you, Harry, and we've also been waiting for Y/n to return. But really, flying an illegal car halfway across the country— anyone could have seen you—"

She casually flicked her wand at the dishes in the sink and they began to clean themselves, clinking gently in the background.

"It was cloudy, Mum!" Fred exclaimed.

Mrs. Weasley snapped back to him and said, "You keep your mouth closed while you're eating!"

"But Mum, they were starving both of them!" George said, anxious to convince his mom as to why what they did was okay.

"Don't get me started with you George!" Mrs. Weasley said, softening her expression as she cut my bread and buttered it for me.

At that moment there was a diversion that came into the room. It came in the form of a small red headed figure in a night dress, Ginny Weasley. She gave a squeal and then ran back upstairs.

Harry looked at Ron, puzzled. Ron said, "My sister, Ginny. She's been obsessing over you quite a bit this summer, but not as much as she's obsessed over y/n."

The five of us were silent the rest of the meal, careful not to invoke Molly's Wrath. Fred set down his knife and fork at last and then said, "Blimey, I'm tired. I think I'll go to bed and—"

"You will not," Mrs. Weasley snapped. "It's your own fault you've been up all night. You're going to de-gnome the garden for me; they're getting completely out of hand again—"

"Oh, Mum—"

"And you two," she said, glaring at Ron and George. She looked at Harry and I sweetly and said, "Oh, you two can go to bed. You didn't ask them to fly that wretched car—"
