And she had a plastered on fake smile and her teeth were very heavily edited to seem super white.

She looked vibrant, but fake.

Pretty in a cake face kinda way.

Maybe it wasn't my brain talking but I wanted to get to know her a bit.

She had a lot of followers too, but that didn't really matter to me.

I swiped out of insta and tossed my phone on the bed.

While slipping my tee shirt on I realized it might not be so easy for my shorts.

But asking for help would be so embarrassing.

Or maybe not..

No no it'd totally be awkward.

But what am I supposed to do.

Okay whatever.

First I'll try on my own and if that doesn't work out I guess I'll have to ask y/n.

After struggling for a bit I gave up and caved into to asking for help.

It only took her a second to get here like she said.

She knocked on the door and came right in.

Albert: Hey!

Y/n: What?

Albert: What's the point of knocking if you're just gonna walk in anyway

Y/n: You asked me to come here so I figured it was okay

Dramatically I rolled my eyes and spoke in a sarcastic voice,

Albert: And what if I was changing, huh y/n?

Y/n looked me up and down then raised a brow.

Y/n: But you are changing.. put some pants on sir

Albert: Oh yeah, about that. That's why I called you here. It's a little tricky pulling them up so I was wondering if y'know

Y/n: Yeah no problem

She tried her best not to make things awkward and grabbed the sides of my shorts.

Y/n POV:

Oh my.

This is very uncomfortable and awkward.

After kissing him earlier it feels like things are actually taking a step forward.

We're definitely not trying to rush things so it doesn't mess up our friendship but it doesn't hurt to push things a bit.

As long as I keep my hands tightly gripped to the shorts and just pull up fast it'll be okay.

Y/n: Look up and don't make things weird

Albert: Who do you think I am?

I glanced up at him.

Y/n: Mhm whatever you say man

Quickly I yanked his shorts up and stepped back.

Albert: Hey so do you still wanna go to that party later

Y/n: Yeah it's up to how you're feeling honestly

Albert: I feel great

Y/n: We've got a party to go to then

We chatted for a little longer until mom called us down to eat.

She had a pitcher of lemonade set on the island with our plates ready.

Y/n: Ooh bacon egg and cheese

Mom: And...

She turned around and grabbed something. Mom let out a slight giggle as she loved surprises.

Mom: Smoothies!! Also a little yogurt bar I set up

Y/n: So that's what you've been up to all morning

Mom: Had to spoil you two, I know you've had some rough days

Y/n: You're the best thank you so much

Albert hobbled in and took a seat next to me.

Albert: Good morning Ms. you look beautiful as ever. And that blue really brings out your eyes

Mom: You're welcome for the food Albert

Albert gasped, and seemed dramatically offended.

Albert: Didn't even notice the food until you pointed it out Ms.

Mom blushed and gave him a smile.

We finished eating and after some time had passed, decided to go for a walk.

While crossing the street Albert came up with an idea.

Albert: Wanna go to the park?

Y/n: Yeah it's not too far why not

Albert: Wanna head back and grab a blanket?

Y/n: I'll bring some snacks too

Albert: You got a skateboard?

Y/n: Uh yeah in the garage

Albert: Okay you get the blanket and snacks and I'll grab that

Y/n: Albert you can't even-

Albert: Hush now
