Aaron looked to the floor in shame, folding up his wings. Celest shot him a look.

"What past?" She asked.

"I...I don't wanna talk about it." Aaron replied.

"What's the matter? You afraid of what your friend might not be telling you?" The King appeared next to Celest. "Makes sense coming from someone who everyone gossipped about at school everyday."

"What...?" She whispered. He smirked wickedly.

"Oh, you know exactly what I'm talking about, my dear." He said. "Those comments they made about you still linger, don't they? Is that why you smile so much? To make fool yourself into thinking youre unaffected?"

Celest took a step back, tearing up a bit. Cameron frowned.

"Hey! What's your deal?" Cameron growled. The King turned to him.

"Still mad about being in your brother's shadow, I see." He said in a low tone. Cameron's eyes widened.

"Don't you dare-"

"Oh hush, we both know you won't do anything. It's not like your jokes will get you any special recognition anyway." The King snapped. Cameron fell silent, clenching his jaw. The King turned his attention to Natalie.

"As for you, my girl, I can't imagine how much your parents divorce must've hurt as a child. Then again, that explains why you're always the one keeping the peace." He said. She gasped.

"But I thought...Your parents got divorced?" Aarya asked. Natalie didn't reply.

"Shocking, isn't it?" The King appeared next to Aarya. "But I guess it's not as bad as going through betrayal after betrayal from friends and family alike."

Aarya was quiet for a second. "Bold of you to assume I cared back then." She muttered.

"On the contrary, my dear, you did. And deep down, you still do. It doesn't matter how well you hide it." The Corrupted King said cruelly. Aarya crossed her arms angrily. I glanced at Damian, who looked at her with a semi-hurt expression.

"Ari..." He muttered. The Corrupted King's mean gaze turned to Damian next.

"Yes, tragic. But I doubt that you can relate much, Damian." The King grinned. Damian shot him a confused glance.

"What do you mean...?"

"Well, considering the fact that your parents locked you away in your room from such an early age to 'maintain that beautiful mind of yours', I doubt they cared enough to let you form real friendships." Damian's eyes shot open in surprise. They started glowing slightly.

"I think you said it better yourself once; you just don't like the feeling of being...trapped?"

'So that's what he meant...' I thought to myself. I turned to Damian, who had a hurt look on his face. He turned away, obviously fighting back tears. I turned to Zielo, who's eyes started to emit an angry glow.

"What's the point of this?" He muttered bitterly. "Is this just to mess with us or something?"

The Corrupted King looked somewhat offended. "Oh no, I'm simply just setting a few skeletons free from the closet. I feel it's better to let them roam. Wouldn't you agree, Mr Dusk?"

"Zee..." I muttered. Zielo's expression changed in a flash.

"Zielo Dusk; so much mystery lying behind those dark eyes. Like the reason you always ended up pushing those you held close away from you. Did the thought of separation frighten you so much before you came to Arceus that it prohibited you from forming a genuine bond?"
