Chapter 4

Sada had gotten bored of pretending to be asleep so he had grabbed his book to pretend to be studying. He was looking at his book upside down. "Not since this morning. Tensei?"

One by one the passed the question around to each other.

"See. We haven't seen him. So goodbye!" Mitsuro waved and pushed him out the door.

Once the door was closed Tsuki spoke. "Thanks for that." Everyone looked over to see him sitting on the desk with his left leg over the other.

"Why'd you take his doll again?" Maya asked. Everyone had gone back to what they were doing. Ryan and Kyle had abandoned their card game and were watching the drama.

"I did it cause I was bored. I'll give it back to him. So see ya!" And Tsuki bounced out the door.

Ryan and Kyle shared a knowing glance. Tensei was smiling while still playing the piano. Naoki was busy laughing. Sada was as usual confused as to everyones reactions. Maya just sighed as Mitsuro facepalmed.

{Lunch time}

Mitaka and Tsuki were both looking opposite ways.

Ryan and Kyle were chuckling. Let's just say they were enjoying the current situation.

Maya and Mitsuro were both fed up already.

The atmosphere changed when a girl with curly red hair sat down at the table, her green eyes glittering happily. "I'm back."

"Hey Aurora!" Maya greeted. "So you're better then?"

"Yup. Although I got Lucian sick. So it's his turn to stay home." Aurora told them. "What's wrong with those two?" She asked gesturing to the pouting two.

"Just one of their little fights as usual." Tensei said finishing his lunch.

"Did you hear the news? Oh, hello Aurora!" Jasmine sat down dragging Naoki along.

"What news?" Mitaka asked, snapping out of his pout.

"Apparently there are new kids joining us next week!" Jasmine told them.

"And how did you find this out?" Tsuki asked.

"I have my ways." Jasmine flicked her blonde braids over her shoulder.

"Sure. But who transfers two weeks into the term?" Mitsuro was now curious.

"Bad boys who got kicked out of their school?" Tensei shrugged his shoulders.

"Why don't we focus on school things for now?" Maya suggested. And that was the end of the conversation.

Naoki leaned over to Tensei to ask about the maths worksheet. Sada places his head on the table to sleep. Mitsuro and Maya dived into a conversation about their science project. Mitaka and Tsuki got into a food war until Mitsuro told them off. And Ryan, Kyle and Aurora just watched.

{After school}

They all walked home. Mitsuro was still deep in thought about the sudden transfer students.

"Did you know that if you overthink things too much your brain will end up getting fried?" Sada said matter of factly as they walked.

"That's not true. Stop sprouting false facts!" Mitsuro snapped, hitting him.

Sada dodged and ended up bonking into a pole. Mitaka and Tsuki burst out laughing.

Tensei wasn't paying attention. He had his earplugs in and was listening to his unfinished melody he was making. He took the left one out when Maya tapped his shoulder. "What do you think of the whole transfer students?"
