Part 17

After the waitress took my order for Pablo he sat down next to me.
"how was training?" I asked
"fine, as always" he said and tilted his head back and then looked at me.
"how is it going here?" He asked me about my homework.
"good. I'm done now. Just need to submit everything to my teachers" I said.
"how are you?" He asked me. Not many people has actually asked how I feel, which I had noticed very much. So I'm glad he actually cares about me.
"couldn't feel better. That's how I'am" I said and smiled and he smiled back to me.
"so, I needed to ask you something" I said directly. I didn't know how to ask so I just would do it the most easiest way.
"anything" he replied
"what exactly are we?" I said hoping he would understand the question directly.
"in terms of relationship status, you mean?" He asked me and I nodded.
"what do you want us to be?" He asked me
I didn't reply for some seconds and then just said "more then friends at-least"
"oh, best friends, then?" He asked and I really thought he was serious first.
"joking, don't worry" he said and laughed.
"I want you to be mine of course." He said and the way he said it just made him more attractive.
"okay, then I'm happy" I said and leaned back as him and he got the his food as well so he started to eat.
"you want to taste?" He asked and I declined.
"Okay, your fault. You would have the chance to be fed by the one and only Gavi" he said and laughed.
"I haven't missed it. There will be more chances for sure" I said and giggled because it was the truth for now.

BELLA'S POV:
I was waiting for Pedri at our meet up place and he was late 10 minutes. But I didn't really think of it since I thought they maybe were at the training still.

40 minutes had passed and he was still not here. I lost the hope of him getting here so I just drove away from there. I tried to call and text him but he wouldn't answer and I wouldn't stand there and wait for him all day.
"you invite me to go out and then just doesn't even come" I said to myself as I was driving to the hockey arena.
I used to do figure skating when I was a kid until I was like 14 or 15 years old when I stopped. But from time to time I usually go there for not to forget but also when I need a break cause that's the only place I can be alone and no one really knows I'm here when I am except my mom and I also told milena.
I took my ice skates and went inside to that one arena I usually go to since there are no people inside because that's the only arena where only hockey players play but since the one who works here knows me she lets me go there when they don't have a game or training. I like to just improvise everything I do to calm down myself and my thoughts. I wasn't even that upset that he didn't come but more upset that he didn't say something to me. He could text me and I would not need to stand and wait for him almost an hour.

MILENA'S POV:
Pablo was done eating and we just sat there talking as I was playing with his hands.
"wait, pedri is calling me" he said and took his phone.
"hello?" Pablo said and I could hear pedri  through the phone.
"you are with milena, right?" He asked Pablo and Pablo said yes and gave me the phone.
"hello?" I said questionably.
"hey, milena. I assume you know I was supposed to meet up Bella."
"supposed? Aren't you two together right know?" I asked him.
"something emergency happened and I couldn't go or text her so she waited for me unnecessarily. But she doesn't answer now and she isn't at her home either. I really need to talk her, do you know where she might have left?" Pedri said and I could hear by his voice that he really was sorry and wanted to talk to her.
"if she isn't home I think she might be at the skating rink" I said praying that Bella wouldn't kill me for saying to pedri.
"skating rink?" He said to himself but then thanked me and hung up.
"what's happening?" Pablo said as I gave back his phone to him and I explained everything.
"shit, he's so in trouble" Pablo said
"he very is. But I'am sure that Bella will forgive him if he has a reasonable explanation." I said.

BELLA'S POV:
I heard my phone calling a couple of times but I didn't answer and just continued to do what I liked. I heard that someone opened the door and then it closed by itself and so I thought that someone opened it by accident and went out so I just didn't care. But no. There was someone.
"milena, can we talk?" He screamed so I eventually heard. It was Pedri.
"sorry, I'm a little busy here" I replied. Minutes passed but he didn't leave and instead he came into the rink with no skates on just shoes.
"you will eventually fall if you go around here with shoes" I said standing still now. I didn't want to skate in-front of him.
"please let us talk" he said again moving forward to me.
"you better have an good explanation" I said and slowly went to him so he could for gods sake stay still and not fall.
"I'm so so so sorry that I didn't come. I swear I wouldn't miss it that easily. My elder brother got high fever quickly so I needed to take him to the hospital and that's why I couldn't call or text you either." He said with an exhausted voice so that I felt sorry for him immediately.
"is he alright?" I asked
"yeah, they gave him some medicine so he's sleeping right now." He said
"oh, I hope he will feel better soon" I said
"maybe that's not an excuse but I'am really sorry" he said and I could hear that he really meant it and it wasn't he just said.
"don't be silly, it's your brother. I won't be upset because you took care of your brother" I said and I could see how his eyes lighted up after what I said.
"since when do you skate" he then said questionably and I laughed and said:
"since forever. There are many things you don't know about me" I said and smiled.
"then let me get to know you. Wait I will go and try to find some skaters for me so we can at least spend some time here" he said and went out directly as I watched him go. To not say that he's the only boy that has been this kindly to me would be wrong.
