Tessa's heart skipped a beat as she realized she had said yes. Harry told her he was looking forward to meeting her again soon and said bye and then there was a beep, informing her the call had ende. Tessa looked Marlene and felt ingredients for a panic attack forming inside her. The other girl looked at her, smiling widely.
"I am so excited!!" She screamed out and hugged her.
After a while they were done with the let's-not-panic-this-is-a-good-thing-situation and Marlene started running around wondering what she'd wear, realizing the clock was nearly three, meaning the boys would be there soon. They were only going at Louis' to watch a film or two and hang out, getting to know each other better - at least that's what had been told to Tessa. She decided to go with a pair of skinny jeans and a top that showed enough skin but didn't look like she was trying too much. Marlene brushed out her hair and added a bit of lipstick, she had always liked her lips and it was always good to embrace your best sides, right?
Not long after that, they sat down on the kitchen table again where Tessa finally took the second cup of coffee she hadn't finished earlier. It was a bit stronger now, it had been in the pot for nearly and hour already, but Tessa didn't mind since she wasn't that fast when it came to drinking. After chatting for a while, they hear the doorbell ring. Marlene looked like she was going to have a heart attack and as she ran to her room to get her purse, realizing she was missing out on one, leaving Tessa the job to open the door for the two males waiting behind it.
"Here we go", Tessa said to herself, taking in a deep breath as she opened the door.
She had to stop herself from choking on air, which would've gone straight to the top on her list of most embarrasing things ever, as he saw how good the guys looked.
Louis was wearing a black Rolling Stones themed t-shirt and red jeans, looking incredible hot. Marlene was going to freak out, Tessa thought and a small smile appeared on her face as she pictured the image on her head. His biceps were showing off quite nicely, quite being an understatement.
Harry had on a tee too, but it was plain black one and a pair of dark thight skinny jeans and of course those brown boots of his.You could see the golden cross he always wore, the chain settling nicely on his collarbones. He looked so good the girl had to fight the urge to squel.
Tessa stood there for a moment too long, snapping out of her thoughts, causing her to blush a bit. How long had she just been staring at them? Hopefully not too long. Well, this started great, everything was already going smoothly and the guys weren't even inside the flat yet.
"Yeah, sorry, um.. Come on in", she got her words tangled a little and moved aside from the door. Both Louis and Harry smiled at her, looking like they tried to tell her it was alright, she was doing fine, and walked in the flat.
"This seems like a nice area, and a flat you live in", Louis smiled just as Marlene walked in the living room. The girls thanked at the same time and Marlene smiled brightly, also greeting the boys. "You look good", Louis said with even bigger smile on his face. They hugged and Louis gave her a kiss on the cheek with a vink.
Marlene blushed and the pair said goodbyem walking out the door hand in hand, leaving Harry alone with Tessa, who now was more than anxious and nervous.
"So, would you like some coffee? Tea?" Tessa asked and walked over to the kitchen counter feeling like she had to do something before things got awkward.
"Tea sounds good, thank you", Harry smiled and followed Tessa, sitting down on the table. He politely asked if she needed a hand, but Tessa just smirked and shook her head, thinking the sentence in a totally different way. She was only boiling water and making herself a cup of coffee, she wasn't a fan of tea, so there wasn't much to do.
Harry sat there for a while, watching her as she did the tea and put some biscuits on a plate, desperately trying to find something else to offer too. They should've gone to the shop. He noticed how Tessa kept looking at him quickly from time to time, but he didn't say anything and neither did she, obviosly thinking he didn't notice the looks. A small smile had creeped up on his face, but he couldn't bother himself to care.
"So, how have you been?" He asked when Tessa gave her the tea and put milk and sugar on the table, not being sure what he used. She sat down opposite to him, basically as far as she could go without seeming rude. It was kind of new to Harry, people weren't usually 'afraid' to be near him. Harry smiled at the girl, trying to make her feel more comfortable around him.
"He has a gorgeous smile", Tessa though to herself. She had always like his smile but it was something really different when you saw it in real life. To Tessa it seemed like it could light up the entire city, seriously, making everyone feel good and comfortable as long as he smiled. It made her happy in a weird way so she couldn't help but smile a bit herself too.
"I'm good. You?"
"Yeah, I'm good too. It's really nice to see you again." Tessa felt her cheeks getting hotter and she knew she must be blushing like mad. Harry let out a quiet laugh, she was just too adorable.
"I like you, Tessa. I know we haven't known each other for, well, longer than two days but I'd love to get to know you better, more than anything", he breathed out, seeing this would be a good moment.
Was there a right time to tell someone you liked them even though you had only met them and barely knew them? Harry wasn't too sure but at that time he also couldn't bring himself to worry about that. There was something that drew him to her and he had never been the one to be afraid to tell someone how he felt.
If there was something he was sure at that moment was that he liked Tessa, even though he had only met her once before and even then she had been drunk half of the time, well more than half.
But to Tessa, it all seemed like a one big joke. To who does it exactly happen, that your celebrity crush randomly bumps in to you in a small pub and immediately likes you? Exactly, no one.
"What?" She asked, confusion written all over her face.
"You heard me. So.. do you think we could give this, whatever this is, a try?"
