"We won't have a repeat of last time, Tsukasa" he reassured the rest of the panicking crowd. This time it was different, he had the rest of his members together.

"Very well then" Hyoga jumped from the tree branch, aiming his spear right into the ground. He hoped to strike fear into people, and he was successful. Backup armies were already infiltrating the base.

Tsukasa grabbed your panicked self and dropped down, landing on both his feet.

"You're free to pick a side" he extended his arm towards you.

You could see that behind his demeanour, there was a plea for help. He wanted someone to break him out of the same old cycle.

Your heart ached.

But, you know her location, you spent hours of your free time just pinpointing the supposed areas. It was tough since you didn't have an aerial view.

From the corner of your eye, you could see Kohaku charging right in.

A distraction, of course.

Both of them realised it and prepared for the fight. You gave Tsukasa one last plea with your eyes and run to Ukyo.

"Ukyo" you flipped his body as you crouched down on your knees. The rough ground splinters your bare skin.

"Stay with me" you bring out the spare cloth from your bag and wrap his entire chest with it. His heart was beating rapidly so that was a good sign.

"[Name]" he raised his blood filled palm and touched your now soaked cheek. His thumb slowly caressed your face as he wiped the tears away.

"Senku's calling for you, go" he pushed you away.

Ukyo had first met her when he was stationed to stalk her by Tsukasa. He was perched on top of a tree , his head in his palms.

He was bored, like always. His eyes then drifted to her hair; she was naturally white haired, unlike him who dyed his hair and the petrification halted his true hair colour from showing.

He could visibly see her ear twitch. She then stopped talking to her two friends and looked directly at him. Her bright coloured eyes meet his green ones.

She gave him a toothy smile which almost resulted in him falling from the branch.

That face... and that smile had now been ingrained into his brain. His thoughts consumed by her smile.

He itched to get to know more about her but they were enemies and a time would come where he would have to kill her.

He dismissed those thoughts until now, when without thinking, he jumped in front of her.

You give him a light nod and rush towards Senku, who was situated in the cave.

"That's the problem, we don't have sulphuric acid". As soon as you stepped into the cave, you heard the unmistakable murmurs of Gen and Senku.

"[Name]" your attention was hurled as you shifted your eyes to the caller. Chrome stood in front of you, brimming with a brilliant idea.
