Sasuke's amusement grew, and he assisted her in removing the remaining equipment. "I can tell," he said, genuinely amused by her antics. "You always have been one to resist being caged in, even by circumstances."
Y/N's frown deepened, her eyes flashed with a hint of pain, "Being here makes me feel weak," she admitted. "And that's the last thing I want to feel right now."
Sasuke's gaze softened even further, a hint of vulnerability slipping through his usually guarded facade. "Hn, I would be too," he said, understanding the weight of her emotions.
A brief pause hung in the air, as if Sasuke had more to say but chose to withhold his words. "Just... never mind."
Y/N blinked at him, her eyes reflecting a distant thought process, her airheadedness momentarily taking over. "Oh! uh my bad, I got distracted again."
Sasuke's gaze softened, a faint trace of amusement in his eyes. "You truly are something," he mused, a mixture of fondness and exasperation coloring his words.
Y/N then began to organize the items around her with a sense of order. "These things are all over the place."
Observing Y/N's efforts to organize the equipment, Sasuke couldn't help but chuckle softly. He joined in, assisting her in arranging things in an orderly manner—a gesture he'd likely never do for himself. "Hn, Seems like it," he agreed, a touch of amusement in his tone.
Y/N blinked at him, her demeanor momentarily serious but her facade showing cracks "This is totally... well, not so Sasuke-like."
His lips curved into a genuine smile, a rarity for him. "I suppose I have my moments."
Y/N grinned wryly, looking a bit airheaded but endearingly so. "Well, at least I'm consistent."
Sasuke's smile grew just a bit more, his composure slipping further. "That you are, Y/N. That you are."
Y/N and Sasuke, driven by an unspoken understanding, exchanged a determined glance before leaping out of the hospital room window.
The hospital room was left vacant, the machines continuing to beep rhythmically as if unaware of the departure of its former occupants.
Meanwhile, the hospital door swung open, revealing the surprised individuals. "Huh! Where is Y/N-chan?"
Ino let out a sigh, her voice filled with a mix of frustration and worry. "Sasuke-kun disappeared two days ago, and now Y/N is gone too."
Sakura's brows furrowed, anxiety creeping into her voice. "But where could they have gone?"
The hospital staff members exchanged concerned glances as they discussed the unexpected departure of Shirazaki Y/N.
"Shirazaki Y/N-sama left the hospital," one of staff informed the others.
"But she hasn't fully recovered," another staff member added, worry etched on their face. The implications of Y/N leaving the hospital prematurely weighed heavily on their minds.
Sakura's heart sank at the news, her mind immediately filled with worry for her friend. Images of Y/N's determined and sometimes her reckless nature flashed through her mind, heightening her anxiety. The two legendary figure behind Y/N and Sasuke added to her worry.
"Y/N-chan..." Sakura whispered to herself, her voice laden with concern. She couldn't shake off the sense of responsibility she felt towards her friend's well-being.
Sasuke kun, Y/N chan. Please be safe.
