(Eigth): Director Hu.

Start from the beginning

"I have no idea, I've never been someone's boyfriend before."

"Oh? How cute~ my little inexperienced boy~" She looked at me with a mischievous smile on her face

Her confident response made me raise an eyebrow "You have experience?"

"Ah- well... Yes!"

...

"Does a day in first grade count..?" The girl's face became redder than her vision.

"No, Hu Tao, It doesn't." I chuckled and brought my hand to her cheek, caressing it lightly

"Then I don't have any..."

...

"You know, right now I can't decide if I want you to hug me tighter or if I'm going to die from asphyxiation in 5 seconds" Hu Tao giggled at my joke, but it didn't take long for me to discover that the second option was the correct answer.

"Hu Tao, I actually can't breathe."

She immediately let go of me and chuckled a bit

"I'm sorry, I guess I'm just so breathtaking~" The girl put her hands on her hips and a smug grin appeared on her face.

"Yes, yes you are."

*Blush*

"Ah- wait. Eh- Y- Wh- Haaaa? What the- wha- what???? I- eh??? Wait- did you?-" she kept going for 10 more seconds, while I just kept staring at the most amusing spectacle I had ever seen

"Is it really that easy to stunlock you, Hu Tao~?"

"Oh, sh- shut it." She pouted, her face completely coloured of an intense vermillion "it feels a bit weird when you call me by full name, we're a couple now..."

"You're right... What about TaoTao? Or do you prefer just Tao?"

She smiled warmly at my response "you can use the one you prefer~"

We stayed in comfortable silence for a minute or two, just looking in each other's eyes, until she brought the silence, looking at the clock with utter panic.

"OH MY GOD I HAVE A FUNERAL IN 15 MINUTES. Darling, I'm so sorry, but I have to go, toodeloo~!" she grabbed her hat and bolted away, making me to chuckle.

"MR. ZHONGLI! IM HERE!" In the heat of the moment I slammed the doors loudly, probably causing some items to fall from the shelves.

"Director Hu, Please calm down." Mr. Zhongli was sitting elegantly on his chair and holding his teacup with his pinky raised like a true gentleman.

"Yeah *pant* sorry, I panicked 'cause I thought I was going to be late."

"You're right in time. Let's start with the funeral now, shall we?"

"Yes..."

I opened the door to the waiting room, at first sight I'd say there were around 20 people.

"Oh. Are you a distant parent? I don't think I've ever seen you before." The client's daughter spoke first, with a somewhat rude tone. I don't show myself during the first two rites, so it's not rare for people to think that I'm a distant parent that came to the funeral just to try to get a piece of the client's will or something like that.
