Love language #2: words of affirmation?

Start from the beginning

He found himself crowded with his thoughts at night while Dream was stuck in his office, thinking about the girls Dream had spoken to and about the fact that none of them knew he was taken already. He even saw one giving him especially fond eyes, making an effort to be closer to him. Now, she may had just been a big fan of him, or she could be totally crushing on him. In George's eyes, he saw her as a threat, just like the other girls Dream met and actually kept in touch with. He knew his boyfriend loved him and would talk to him if he was loosing feelings, but George was a sensitive person, even just the slightest shift in behavior and he would go bonkers trying to figure out what he had done wrong.

It was another night alone, sitting in bed, waiting anxiously for Dream to come in and sleep. The brunet hadn't been sleeping very well, all his stress from the day and mental breakdowns causing nightmares to occur very often, consisting of Dream leaving him, Dream dying, Dream running away from him, or just George not able to find him, everyone in the nightmare insisting that they didn't know anyone named Dream. They were so vivid and real that it caused him to wake up with uncontrollable tears to the point where he was scared to fall asleep. Even when he did fall asleep, he consciously knew that even in his most relaxed states, he was in danger, and scared himself awake not only an hour or two after sleeping. He needed Dream by his side, just for one night.

George forced himself to crawl out of bed even with his heavy eyes, and left his and Dreams bedroom. He shuffled his way through the hallway and slowly opened Dreams door, looking inside to see the other basically falling asleep in his chair. The sight was cute but George stay focused on his mission, and made his way towards the other, placing his hands on one of Dreams arms, making the other look up, pulling his headset off of his head, "George? Why are you still up? It's nearly four in the morning?" Dream asked, George looking aside.

"Can you come to bed? Please?" He asked, looking back at the other. George knew he was Dreams weakness, and with the combo of sleepiness, puppy eyes, and begging, he knew Dream would give in, he just needed to play his cards right.

"But George.. listen, I'll join you to sleep tomorrow? How does that sound? Just tonight to finish some last things, okay?" He suggested, George knowing he'd need to negotiate more.

George shook his head side to side, looking down at the other with pleading eyes that Dream could never say no to, "I need you tonight, not tomorrow.. don't you love me more than your work?" He asked, he knew that specific question would pull the impact that he wanted, and he watched as Dream looked at his screen, then back at George. "Please Dream? I'm lonely without you" He knew he was getting through, just a few more strings to pull and Dream would be in his grasp.

The blond sighed, bringing George's hopes up a bit, "I.. guess one night couldn't hurt.." he muttered. George instantly smiled and leaned down, pulling Dream close and hugging around his neck, nuzzling his head closer to the others. He felt Dream push himself up onto his feet and released some of his hold on the other so that he could turn off his computer and monitors. Once he was done, George pulled him out of the office, feeling like he'd just struck gold when he made it all the way to their bedroom without Dream second guessing his decision. "George, are you feeling okay?" George turned around at the others words, the two standing in the center of their room together, stopping their journey towards the comfortable bed near the other side of the room.

"Um, yeah, why wouldn't I be?" He asked, tilting his head. He was a bad liar, and Dream obviously noticed he wasn't telling the truth because he reached his hand up and touched George's jaw, sliding his thumb around the edge.
