Jimin POV
Somehow, the interview went well. It is like he didn't remember me or is it just him acting professional, but I like this hot side of him.
"Jimin, stop daydreaming," I scolded myself inwardly.
Today, Lisa begged me to babysitter her daughter, as I have nothing to do, I just accepted since I really missed the cutie pie.
Miso seems to be full of energy today, while all I want is to lie down and relax. "Hush hush, little Miso, please just sleep," I cooed gently, hoping she would drift off. After about thirty long minutes, she finally decided to sleep. Carefully placing her in her crib, I retreated to the cozy couch to rest. I can't fall asleep myself; I'm worried she might wake up and I won't hear her.
I was scrolling through Instagram when my phone suddenly started ringing. The caller ID displayed an unknown number, but I decided to answer the call.
"Hello, may I know who's calling?" I answered.
"Oh, you didn't save my number. It's me, Kim Namjoon from Jeon Corporation," Namjoon's voice came through the line.
"Oh, I'm really sorry, sir. I forgot," I apologized.
"No problem at all. I'm calling to inform you that you passed the interview. You can start this week," he informed me.
My heart raced. Did I hear him correctly? Was I really accepted? Oh my, I can't believe this, I thought to myself, stunned by the unexpected news. I had assumed I was automatically rejected.
I heard him chuckling. Why was he laughing? Did he catch what I just said?
"Yes, Mr. Park, you heard me right. We'll be expecting you tomorrow. Goodbye," he confirmed my acceptance.
"Goodbye, sir, and thank you so much," I expressed my gratitude before he hung up.
Embarrassment that is how I feel right now, first Mr jeon and now Mr Namjoon. God, help me.
I quickly sent a message to Hyung and Dad, informing them that I had been accepted. I was overjoyed. my first dream was coming true getting a job.
Errrrrrr, erere, errrrrr...
The mischievous little one was wide awake. I walked over to Miso's crib and gently lifted her into my arms, playing with her a little.
Two hours after Yoongi came back, I said, "Finally, you're here," handing him his daughter. "Sorry for coming late," he replied, playing with Miso's hair. "It's okay, Hyung. I need to go back now. Bye," I said as I put on my shoes.
"Kid, stay for dinner," he offered. "No, Hyung, I need to go home. Mom and dad are waiting for me," I replied, partly lying, but the truth was, I just needed to sleep. Babysitting is so exhausting.
