Start from the beginning

The housekeeper's narrative continued to reveal the tumultuous history of the mansion and the strained relationship between Yo-Han and Isaac.

She recounted, "The next day, Master Isaac's marriage was taking place in the mansion. But Yo-Han, determined to talk to Isaac, barged in during the festivities."

Ga-on's interest was piqued as he listened to the story unfold. The housekeeper continued, "Yo-Han insisted on speaking to Isaac, but instead of understanding, Isaac insulted him in front of the guests, claiming that poor people should not befriend the rich."

The image of Yo-Han being humiliated in front of the guests sent a chill down Ga-on's spine. "What happened next?" he asked, his curiosity growing.

The housekeeper's voice quivered as she recounted, "On Isaac's orders, the bodyguards forcibly kicked Yo-Han out of the mansion. I watched as Yo-Han left, and I saw a look in his eyes that was unlike anything I had ever seen-a look that sent shivers down my spine."

"Isaac eventually got married, and they had a daughter who is Elijah," she explained with a hint of nostalgia.

"It sounds like Yo-han was just a victim," he remarked, his voice tinged with empathy.

The housekeeper's response, however, was unexpected and chilling. She looked at Ga-on with a steely resolve and said, "I know what Yo-han was capable of because I raised him myself."

With the revelations about Yo-Han's tumultuous past and his strained relationship with Isaac, Ga-on couldn't help but ask the housekeeper a pointed question.

"Do you have any evidence that makes you suspect Yo-Han did something to Isaac?" Ga-on inquired to which the housekeeper denied.

Ga-on's eyes widened in shock as he listened to her accusations. The housekeeper continued, her voice trembling with a mixture of anger and accusation, "When Yo-Han was still a young and lived with Master Isaac he made a servant girl with a crush on him jump from the second floor, and he even fed poison to Isaac's father's favorite hunting dog and a series of unfortunate events seemed to befall the family the days after Yo-Han was kicked out of the mansion."

Ga-on listened intently, his heart heavy with the weight of the tragedies that had unfolded. The housekeeper continued, "The first of these tragedies was a car accident that took the lives of Isaac's wife and Yo-Han's father. They were returning from an event, and it was a devastating loss. Thankfully, Master Isaac and Elijah survived."

Ga-on couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding as he realized the sequence of unfortunate events that seemed to have followed Yo-Han's return. It was as if a dark cloud had settled over the mansion's family, and he couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to the story than met the eye.

The day of the funeral marked a somber occasion, and Yo-Han paid a visit to Isaac, who was sitting in the room with his daughter. Overwhelmed with emotions, Isaac cried and hugged Yo-Han tightly, finding solace in their shared grief.

However, as they mourned together, the people around them began to gossip. Whispers and rumors spread like wildfire, with some suggesting that Yo-Han might have been responsible for the tragedy that befell Isaac's family. Little Elijah, Isaac's daughter, overheard these hurtful accusations, and it sowed the seeds of hatred toward Yo-Han in her young heart.

Despite the rumors and the cloud of suspicion, happiness slowly returned to Master Isaac's life. Yo-Han proposed to him, and their relationship seemed to be blossoming once more. The housekeeper, though harboring her own reservations, kept her concerns to herself, knowing that Isaac's smile had returned with Yo-Han's presence.

The housekeeper's voice trembled as she continued to unveil the tragic events that had befallen the family.

"There was a fire in the church where the wedding was planned. In that devastating incident, Master Isaac lost his life, and Yo-Han miraculously survived all intact."

With a heavy heart, the housekeeper concluded, "I know Yo-Han must have planned this to take away all his property. Yo-Han is evil."

"What are you, Kang Yo-Han?" Ga-On murmured as his gaze remained fixed on Isaac's photo, and as he stared at it, he noticed his own reflection superimposed onto the image. It was a haunting moment, as if Ga-On and Isaac were linked not just by the photograph, but by the web of mysteries and secrets that surrounded them.
