Bitter Sweet Acceptance (Makhan x Rexhan)

The barracuda decides to go on with the cards but he noticed someone is missing just before he could react and put a finger, a pair of hands touched his shoulders and their so warm. "Hey Makhan welcome back!" An enthusiastic voice popped out his ear and once he turned around, it was Shan, her outfit is still the same except her covered upper body now sleeveless will long gloves just like Rema's and her hair got a little long. It was like a dream in Ulcus sake, the tiger is having the time of his life. "H-hey Shan!" sh!t his voice cracked for a second and some others heard and notice. Once he realized that he made a joke of himself, he started cursing himslef in the back of his mind. He looks like a total weirdo in that scenario. Shan bursted out laughing releasing her grip from Makhan's shoulders and started lauhing out more until she wheezes out. Makhan chuckled a little in embarrassment. "Sorry sorry about that it's just that man it's been a while since i've heard your voice crack for the first time" Shan catches her breath after laughing and Makhan smiles "Yeah it's been a while..." "Master Makhan hey! Took you a while." Kuga, his hair grown long too and he got more buffer before. "Aye Kuga!" Makhan wave to the greet of his disciple. "Oh by the way you want to join some poker if you know how to play?" Shan jokily asked Makhan in a cheeky manner. "Yeah sure I will definetly catch up some rounds i missed." Makhan looks like he is absolutely ready for the challenge but in reality he just wants to chat for a moment and hear stories about what they've been up to. He's not good at it or likes poker, but he wants to spend some time with HER and Kuga for now, there's still plenty of time until all of them will pass out and leave. Makhan followed Shan to the circular table and sofas. Makhan sat beside Kuga and SHan sat beside Rex. "So how do you all guys have been" Makhan started off with a chuckle...

"Damn it!!! This old man won 3 times you must be cheating!" Rex aggressively threw the cards and stand up in rage. Dr. Mala is winning 3 times in a row that fast and it hasn't been 5 minutes since there  4th round had started. "I'm just good at it I've been playing this game since before I am your age." the impala bragged with his skills showing Rex he can be more than a "doctor" and "old man". He can be a bada$$ gambler.  Well the rest of them are determined defeating the master gambler. Makhan is new to poker so he is catching up on playing it. "Hey Rex calm down don't keep up your game it's just a game." Shan calming down Rex like taming a beast or something. "Oh come on babe I'm a competitive guy since when will i accept losing in a fight." Rex stated teasingly flirting with SHan. Makhan just realized wait did he just said "babe". "There we go again being lovey dovey again" Kuku being a sarcastic penguin he is, "Wait you two are together?" Makhan asked pointing with to the two lovers. "Yeah we are we actually started dating sometime after you know a month after their attack." Shan grabbing Rex's hip stating her point. "You planning something bug girl?" Rex romantically asked. Shan is now blushing in embarrassment she hated calling her bug girl. "Shut up we talked about the nickname." Shan pouted with the feedback, she never like the nickname bug girl if she is called in public. Oh  man they are acting like a couple in front of someone that has a heart broken into pieces. Rex starts teasing Shan until the lion pulled the bug closer to his arms Rex already settle down and start to put Shan's legs over his. "Ok I am out before you two start making out or whatever." Kuku hover up and strated procceding to the result of the chugging competition. Hope no one puked, Makhan's heart shattered, sanked in to pieces when he saw them together. He had his hopes up that he can confess but it's too late. Someone touched Shan's heart before he can, he felt overwhelmed and he started getting anxious. "I'll be going it's getting late." Makhan quickly got up. "Hey Master Ma your going so soon but th-" "Happy Reunion enjoy everyone, Kuga." Before Kuga could even finish Makhan stated leaving the dorm not looking back.
