Into the Bugverse

Chapter 3: Confrontation

"I-Isn't that dangerous though?" asked Marinette.

"Yeah, but then again...I mean look, first all, who knows how long until we find our Hawk Moth? And honestly, I've been falling slowly for Lady Noir because...she's the one who's been by my side. And also...her love for me...makes her stronger. And...it's beginning to make me strong as well. It could boost our trust in each other."

Marinette thought about it for a while. It made sense. Because it seemed that Alya and Nino 2 have known each other for so long, and they've been handling it quite well, however, they did admit there being some close calls because of that..

They told each other's identities the moment they defeated their first akuma. They fell in love and dated behind their Master Fu's back. Alya's Ladyblog existed in that universe, however, it was more biased, coming from the heroine herself. Of course she was able to keep her identity secret, but that didn't change the bias in it.

One day, Alya realized that she needed to either give up being Scarabella or someone else. In the end, she chose Marinette 3 to handle the Ladyblog, who proved to be an amazing journalist.

Soon at some point, Marinette and Adrien 3 were temporarily given the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses. Since then, everything has changed. Their Ladybug and Cat Noir did even better than Scarabella and Cat Crawler on their very first day. They were much better organized and more different.

Scarabella and Cat Crawler's confidence has been shattered ever since. Marinette and Adrien 3 soon discovered each other's identities, because of this, they began dating, seeing the amazingness in each other.

"Me and Nino had thought about..." Alya 2 explained, "...that maybe we should give up our Miraculouses to our Marinette and Adrien...for good..."

Everyone stared at them.

"It's for the best. You see..." Nino 2 explained, "...whenever we fail, we fail so miserably. We go to Master Fu almost frequently, and now, with him gone, we've got no other ideas left."

"You've got to keep trying." Marinette encouraged, "your Kwamis saw something amazingly good within you."

Alya and Nino 2 stared at each other. They didn't know anymore. But they could at least give it some consideration.

Everyone believed that they had enough conversations for the day. They should really get home, but "home" wasn't here for the others. So, they decided that they could sleep at each other's homes.

Ladybug and Lady Noir headed for the bakery. Mister Bug followed Cat Noir to the Agreste Mansion. Scarabella and Cat Crawler headed for their homes, where they could hopefully figure this out.

Alya 2 grabbed her phone as Alya helped get some stuff together, super excited.

"So how's it going?" asked Nino 2.

"It's going well so far." replied Alya 2, "And you?"

"My other's going nuts with this whole multiverse thing."

"Do they know?"

"Only that you and me are Scarabella and Cat Crawler and dating.  They know about the two Adriens and Marinettes, just not them being Ladybug, Cat Noir, Mister Bug, and Lady Noir.  You?"

"Same actually.  See you tommorrow I guess."

"Yeah, see ya, babe."

Adrien and Adrien 2 sat next to each other in the limo.  The bodyguard would constantly check the mirror to be sure that he's seeing two Adrien Agrestes in the exact same car.  They drove to the front yard, and the two Models walked inside.

"Sooo..." asked Adrien 2, "...is your Gabriel Agreste..."

"As cheering?" Adrien answered, "Unfortunatley not, in fact, he's a total jerk.  He keeps me on a close-to-crash diet."

"Jeez...you think...he'd do the same to me?"

"And risk the possible wrath of your Gabriel and Emily Agreste, heck no.  Hey, um...one question, you said, 'Emily Agreste', is your mother still alive?"

"Yep."

The two opened the door, where Nathalie was waiting.  She didn't seem to notice them just yet.  She then looked up, eyes widening as she took a great look.

"Oh my..." she gasped lightly, "...what's going on?"

"Get our old man." Adrien replied, "We have an issue."

"A-Alright, sir."

The two Adriens waited a few minutes in the dinning room.  There and then, they saw Gabriel Agreste walk inside.  He was amazed to see two versions of his son.  One of them, Adrien 2, looked slightly a bit taller than his Adrien.

"I see that this issue is stranger than I imagined." said Gabriel.

"You have no idea." replied Adrien 2, he then shook his hand, "Hi...uh...Dad?  I'm Adrien 2."

"Nice to mee you, Adrien 2.  I never imagined that you'd be this...um..."

"Muscled up?  Heh, me too.  I guess my parents had a different definition of diet, hehe...he..."

The two Marinettes walked next to each other to their parents' bakery.  There was a bit of an awkward silence between them.

"So..." Marinette attempted, "...you like Fashion Desgin like me?"

"Not just that, but I work at Gabriel Agreste's company." Marinette 2 smirked with pride, "But I'm just a small-timer.  Nothing too big."

Marinette's mouth dropped to the floor.  In the other universe, she was literally working alongside with the Gabriel Agreste in his company.  She wondered if Adrien could somehow get her in as well.

"That's so cool!" said Marinette.

"hey, maybe I can have a word with this universe's Gabriel and get you in, huh?" Marinette 2 asked.

"That'd be great,  actually!"

The two then began to knock on the door of the bakery.  Tom Dupain and Sabine Cheng opened the door.

"Welcome home, dear-" said Sabine, "Of my goodness!"

"Hi, Mom..." said Marinette, waving her hand nerovusly.

That was when tears began to show up on Marinette 2's cheeks.  She looked like she wanted to cry.  She then slammed into Marinette's mother.  Sabine was quite shocked.  It was as if this Marinette hadn't seen her in forever...
