"I really like you Minho hyung."
After a few heartbeats of silence, he crashes into my arms, almost knocking my small body over. His sniffles turn to giggles as he buries his face into my chest.
I wrap my hands around his body, hugging him back. A small smile on my lips at the feeling.
"Do you really?" He mumbles into my jacket, barely being audible.
"I do."
"W-wait. Are you joking? Is this is p-prank? Is it because I'm crying-" He speaks frantically as his hands go to his hair and he pushes himself off me.
"I'm not joking hyung. I really like you."
His face falls back to my shoulder as I struggle to keep my balance with his weight on me. Though it was snowing around us, I felt warm on the inside.
"I like you too Hannie." He lifts his head with a goofy smile on his red face, the scarf no longer covering it. "I really really like you. I wanted to tell you that day. I wanted t-to give you that gift to show you. I'm sorry for being a bad roommate- I-I just struggle with communicating and it's hard to be empathetic."
I caress the side of his face, "It's okay Minho, you're the best roommate I could've asked for. You've helped me with my health a ton. You're perfect okay?"
The wind blowing on his soft hair, making it fly up in all directions. The smile on his face being the best thing I've seen in a while. The feeling of relief was amazing. Like everything I ever stressed about was nothing now that I had him.
It was freeing to be honest.
It was revitalizing.
His beautiful eyes had me wrapped around his finger. My head slowly drifts toward his until our forehead meet.
Smiling until I couldn't hold back anymore. I softly cup his cheek and meet his lips. Moving them gentle at a slow pace. We had nothing to rush. Our feelings were fresh. Our futures were ready. It didn't matter, I realized.
We were different, but we had one thing in common. We had eachother.
We pull away after a few moments. Pure bliss in the air. Minho smiles widely. Our asses still on the ice, probably freezing but who even cares?
"That gift you gave me..." I stop to catch my breath, "was the best thing anyone has ever done for me."
The smile on Minhos face gets larger. He needed to hear these words.
"Thank you so much hyung."
Our grip around eachother tightens. It had been a long week but I think it was all worth it. From exams to my relationships. I think it's worth giving what we have a try. It won't be a distraction if it leaves me better than I started.
"I'm so happy."
Those words coming out of the olders mouth felt like another 20 pounds lifted off my shoulders. I couldn't hold back my smile.
Scratch the 'think', this week was definitely worth it.

"It didn't take me that long, I mean I kinda had it envisioned in my head, plus Chan helped me with some of the proportions."
"Chan knew?" My eyes widen as the older swings our linked hands back and forth. We had returned our skates, though the person behind the counter seemed very confused when watching us on the rink and why we were sitting on the ice instead of skating. But anyways, we took a little more time than anticipated, so we missed the afternoon bus.
Resulting in us walking home.
It wasn't a problem though, the city was beautifully lit up. Decorations all around making your heart feel warm. The smell of peppermint in the air.
Man did it feel better with somebody by your side.
"W-well I kinda told him about it since I didn't know what to do with talking to you-" Minho sputters out with a tinted face.
"No it's okay hyung. It's cute." I smile which he returns. "I always thought your drawings were pretty anyway."
Minho stops in his tracks as I immediately slap my hand around my mouth. His face turns a deeper red as he turns his head making eye contact.
"Oopsies i wasn't supposed to say that-"
