Guren tilted his head as he heard a loud car engine approaching while Y/N smirked gleefully at the new arrival, she knew exactly who was arriving.

"Hawwo" he said as he emerged from the car

"Whoa! Where'd you get the wheels Shinya" shouted Goshi, the white haired man matched his excitement "Isn't it amazing? It's one of those old supercharged luxury sports car. I was riding down here in a boring old military transport when I saw it abandoned on the road, I just had to take it" someone else cleared their throat and exited the car.

"Just leave me out of it Shi" whined F/N as she took a bite out of some toast "I'm the one who spotted the thing" Guren rolled his eyes "That thing's engine is way too loud, this is supposed to be a stealth mission" F/N clutched her chest dramatically "Way to insult my taste Ichinose"

Guren ignored her "It's perfect for an impractical major general like you" he continued and ignored when her eyes sharpened dangerously and stepped towards him slightly. "Do you want to throw hands bitch boy" she threatened and cracked her knuckles loudly and only stopped when Y/N slid up to pull her back. They started arguing as Guren continued the conversation with Shinya

"What are you doing here, this isn't the sort of mission the mighty Hiragi generally bother with" he smiled while eating his toast "Kureto told me about it, you realise this is a suicide mission right?" He moved to continue but there was shrieks from the fighting behind him "Ren I'm about to get stabbed and then stab you if you do not come help me fight right now" Shinya raised an eyebrow at his friend "Ren?" he laughed as Guren glared at him "Shi?" he said mockingly and jogged off as more enraged screeching came from Y/N.

"Does he think he's cool making his inspirational speech on top of a sports car" whispered Shinya to F/N as they both giggled together "Totally pathetic if you ask me" she responded and ignored the glare from the man in question and they conspired for the rest of his speech. Until Goshi joined in.

"Sayuri, Shigure, get me something else to stand on okay? I need to give out orders" everyone glanced at Goshi curled over on the floor "Yes sir" they responded and started preparing for the rest of the squads' arrival.

"Uh-oh, we're late aren't we" said Yuichiro nervously as the car sped down the road "If you weren't such a terrible driver.." muttered Shinoa tauntingly.

"There's no way any of this is my fault" he screamed.

Y/N sighed pitifully as the Shinoa squad tried to sneak in the back of the crowd listening to Guren's speech for motivation.

"Woah there do you think you're corporate execs, no need to get to work on time eh?" he yelled as Mitsuba and Yoichi shrank awkwardly. Shinoa turned around laughing nervously "Ah Lt Colonel Guren, see we ah realised something today. We noticed we are in fact CEOs! So we..." she trailed off as Guren started yelling

"Shut your mouth brat" Y/N sighed with the memories that line brought, she hadn't heard it for too long. How she loved the voice of her one true love when he yelled at kids. She zoned out for the rest of his speech and daydreamed, half watching him and half watching Shinya and her friend conspire together.
