Dekisugi fixed his composure as he heard the doorbell rung.

He opened the door to witness the last person he wished standing at the door.

"Nobita?"

"Hi... Mrs. Yuri handed me the previous year's question papers, she asked me to give a copy to you"

"Oh...thanks"

Nobita noticed Dekisugi's puffed-up face.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, why?"

"You don't look okay"

"No, no I am fine"

"Were you crying?"

Dekisugi's breath hitched.

"Thanks for handing this over, you can go now"

"Bet"

"What?-"

Nobita entered the house despite Dekisugi's resistance.

"I swear to God, why don't you mind your fucking business!" Dekisugi unconsciously raised his voice
As his eyes became moist again. Then the realization hit him.

*"Did I just curse at him?"*

Guilt took over Dekisugi as he tried to apologize.

"I-I am so sorry-"

"Shh, it's alright,"

Nobita hugged Dekisugi as he closed the door behind them.

"I am here," Nobita said in a gentle tone as he caressed Dekisugi's back.

Dekisugi tried to suck up his tears but the warmth of the hug made it more difficult for him.

"You want something to eat?" Nobita asked in a gentle tone.

"Don't worry it's okay"

"I can make some Ramen"

"...but-"

"I am hungry"

Dumbfounded, Dekisugi guided Nobita to the kitchen.

"Alright, where's the Ramen?"

"It's in the top left cupboard, let me get it for you"

"Uh uh, you go upstairs, I will bring it to you"

"I don't want you to do all the work alone! Let me help"

"I said no"

"It doesn't look nice Nobita! You're the guest in my house-"

Before Dekisugi could say anything further, Nobita took hold of his waist to pull him closer. With their lips almost touching, a slight blush appeared on Dekisugi's cheek.

"Go upstairs, I will bring it to you," Nobita said in a deeper voice causing Dekisugi to panic.

"Alright, if you want it tha-that bad, then do it!"

Dekisugi hurriedly escaped from Nobita's strong grip to leave the kitchen.

A few minutes later, a bowl of Ramen with some boiled eggs was served in front of Dekisugi.

"Wow, it looks delicious!"

"Try it"

Dekisugi took a slurp, a bowl of Ramen was all he needed after a mental breakdown.

"It's amazing ~"

"Is it?" Nobita smirked as he took a bite of the egg.

After the two finished their bowls, they sat there in silence.

"Nobita?"

"Yeah?"

"Why are you doing all this?"

"What?"

"Your job ended when you handed the papers yet you had to come in"

"Because you didn't look well"

"And you still haven't asked why"

"If I do will you answer it?"

"........"

"That means you're not comfortable sharing it, I will be there when you're "

"........."

"You are much better now, that's what matters"

Dekisugi let out a chuckle. "Why do you do this to me Nobita?"

"What?"

"This may be nothing for you but these little things strengthen my feelings for you which must not have been there in the first place"

"Why do you think like that?"

"You never answered me, how much time does one need? I took that as a no then"

Nobita smiled as he pulled Dekisugi closer to him.

"I am sorry"

"That's all?"

Nobita placed a gentle kiss on Dekisugi's forehead as he caressed his hair.

"I like you too"

Dekisugi smiled, and his eyes glittered, finally, he found his reason to change his perspective about life.

Nobita analyzed Dekisugi's face, his rose-tinted cheeks, his hazel eyes, and his innocent and happy smile, melted him.

Lost in each other eyes, they admired each other in silence, which was soon broken as they heard a car pull over.

She is Tommie in this book, you may know her as Nano from the famous Netflix show "The Girl from Nowhere" (fun fact: this show was inspired by Junji's Japanese horror Manga published in 1987 about the character "Tomie", but I named her Tommie here cause the storyline is completely unrelated, her character sketch and name are the inspiration)

The actress's name is Kitty Chicha Amatayakul, and she's ... hot.
