"It's Dad." I told them. The all nodded.

"We'll head to eat lunch too. Let's just go out and talk about this some other time Seul." Wendy said dragging the two with her.

"Okay. Thanks." I said before turning my back on them and answer Dad's call.

"Dad?" I walk my way to where Oppa is waiting.

"How was it?" He asked curiously.

"A month suspension." I said, sadly. I heard him chuckle.

"That's actually a light punishment, considering what you did." He teased. I just sighed at how he's reacting. Other parents would be mad now, but them? God! "It's a good thing too."

"Good?" I asked.

"You'll be able to have free time adjusting to your new home." Right! "Are you done with packing your things already?"

"Almost." I said

"Tell me if you're uncomfortable with--"

"Dad, it's fine. I'm just nervous living with someone else other than you guys." Who wouldn't? "Wait Dad?" I said.

I already reach Oppa's car and entered it. I mouthed Dad letting him know who I'm talking with. I put on my seatbelt.

"Yes?" Oppa then drove off.

"Is it possible if I can go to the house, earlier?" I should be moving on the weekend, but then things happened. "I really have nothing much to do the next days, maybe I should just bring and fix some of my stuffs there already."

"Or maybe you just don't want to be seen being clumsy in front of your fiancé, if you move the same day as her." Oppa said laughingly. He's not wrong though. I tend to become a mess when it comes to moving stuffs.

"That too." I admitted.

"If you want to go there already, you can." Dad said. I then heard someone called Dad from the other line. "I need to go now, meeting's gonna start."

"Okay. Let's just talk about it at dinner. Bye." I said before hanging up.

"Tell me honestly Seulgi, why did you do it?" He just knew about it this morning when Dad told him to accompany me, because they can't.

"I just helped someone escape and helped her from doing exactly the opposite of what she wants to do." I said, honestly. I don't really lie to him. He knows me more than anyone and if there's someone I can tell stuff really honestly, it would be my brother.

"Huh? What? And who is this person? From what I notice earlier, your friends are clueless about this. I'm guessing it's not one of them." As expected of him.

"It's her." I said defeatedly. There's not escaping anymore if he asked the question.

"Her who?" He asked again.

"Bae Joohyun."

"Your fiancé? Why? what happened to her?" Should I tell him? He would laugh at me and would surely tease me.

"She got a public proposal. When I saw her, she looked so pressured, I just feel like doing something to stop it." Next thing I heard was my brother's laugh. See?

"You really choose to do something that could get you in a huge trouble, instead standing up for her?" He asked.

"I don't want to get involve, a lot of people were watching. I don't want them to think differently of the situation." When I said that, Oppa stop his laugh.

"Seulgi, you're going to be married to her. It's just right for you to protect and care for her." He said it like he's trying to lecture me.

"But they don't know that Oppa."

"They will most definitely know in the future."

"Then let's just wait when it happens." I said. "Plus I don't even know yet what her thoughts about all of these is. I can't get involve with her just like that. Oppa, you know me."

"You don't like attention of other people." He said. "But Seulgi, you're not uncomfortable being married with the same gender right?" I look to his side. He gives me a glimpse before focusing back to the road.

"I'm not."

"You also okay with being in love with them?" I blinked a few times at his question. Being in love?

"Why not? If I fall, I fall."

"Are you open in learning how to love your bride to be?" I look ahead.

"Learning to love her?"

"You know marriage is something you cannot easily escape from, Seulgi. It also shouldn't be done with the absence of love. The marriage won't exactly work without it. So I'm asking you again, are you willing to learn loving her?" How do you even learn how to love someone? 'Cause I've been trying eversince. I never even felt a glimpse of it yet, except from family and friends.

"I can try, but can I really..."

"You can Seulgi. Just see right through the person. It may not be as strong as given by fate but it's possible. Sometimes even an inch of love is enough already, Seulgi." I look at him first before I laugh.

"You talk like you're lacking love in your life." He just scoff.

"I'm just saying. It's the only way I can help you, in this situation." I look to his side.

"So, there'll be no going out of this anymore." I said dumbfounded. "I'm really marrying her."

"I tried talking them out of this, but the old Bae vouched for you and they can't refused that. Even if Dad went through his plan, on putting me in your position instead, they won't agree with it. Decision was made by the old men of our families and it needs to be done, it's on their Last Will." WHAT THE HECK?!

"and if it's not done?" I asked curiously. I notice a forced smile plastered on his face.

"The companies can't be passed down to the next generation of Kangs and Baes."

"I thought this was just about the Heir of the Baes?" I asked.

"I thought so too Seulgi. I just knew it when I went with Dad to meet them." If that's really the case...

"Dad's wrong. She does have a choice and I don't." I'm the only one trapped here.

The fact that she's not interested in their business at all, she can easily escape this insanity our grandparents had made for us. This is crazy! It's not that they need us, it's us who need them.
