"No way," Promise said, standing up and facing Faith. "I won't let you join their team. It's too risky."
"I've already been chosen," Faith said, her voice firm. "I'm not turning back now."
"You're making a mistake," Desmond said, stepping between them. "I know Collins. He's just using you for his team's benefit. Don't get caught up in this."
Faith hesitated, torn between her desire to join the team and her fear of being used."I don't care," Faith said, her voice raised. "I just want to be close to him."
"Are you out of your mind?" Rose asked, incredulous. "Do you really think they care about you? They'll use you and then dump you as soon as they don't need you anymore. Can't you see that?"
Faith's fists were clenched, her nails digging into her palms. She knew Rose was right, but she didn't want to face the truth. "Yes, I am crazy in love with him," Faith said, her voice softening. "I'll do anything to be with him."
Desmond sighed and sat down next to her. "Collins will never love you," he said gently. "Think about all the things he's done to you. How he's embarrassed you and made you feel small. You deserve better than that."
"That's in the past," Faith said, standing up and walking toward the door. "I've forgiven him, and I'm ready to move on."
"Do you really think they'll accept a fat girl like you into their team?" Promise asked, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
"No matter what you say, it won't change my mind," Faith said, her voice shaking with anger. "I've made my decision, and that's final."She slammed the door behind her, leaving a stunned silence in her wake.
"She's such a mess," Desmond said, shaking his head.
"Is there still space in your team?" Promise asked, a gleam in his eye.
"Of course," Desmond said, smiling.
"Good," Promise said, his voice full of satisfaction. "I won't let her join that ridiculous team. She's better off with you."
Rose nodded, relieved that the situation was resolved. "I'm glad we could come to an agreement," she said.

Dave was in the middle of a game of volleyball when Lisa walked in. He immediately tried to leave, but Lisa stopped him.
"Wait, you don't have to avoid me," she said.
"I'm not avoiding you," Dave said, his voice strained. "I just need to get back to the game."
"I know you, and I know that you're avoiding me because I confessed my feelings to you," Lisa said, her voice growing increasingly frustrated. "Am I right?"
"It's not because of that," Dave said, but his words felt hollow, even to his own ears.
"Then why have you been ignoring my calls and messages?" Lisa asked, her voice breaking. "Do you know how frustrating that is?"
"Lisa, you know we can't be together," Dave said, his voice firm.
"Why not?" Lisa asked, her voice rising in frustration. "Is it because of your brother? Because he doesn't own my life, I make my own decisions."
"You don't understand," Dave said, struggling to find the words to explain. "There are so many reasons why this can't work."
"Try me," Lisa said, her eyes pleading with him. "Just give me one good reason why we can't be together."
"I..." Dave started, but the words caught in his throat.
"Just let me understand," Lisa pleaded, her voice growing more desperate. "I'm going crazy here, I'm so deeply in love with you."
