'Well, the best thing we can do is head back there,' Sol said. 'Maybe we'll find Uncle Obi on the way. Now, you two are going to stay with me for the entirety of this journey, and you will have to listen to everything I say, you understand me?

If I say run, you run. If I say hide, you hide. These people are not here to be nice to you, and we have to get all of us off of this ship as soon as possible, okay? Do you understand?'

'Yes, Mum...'

'Great.'

Sol swiped her lightsaber off the floor and stood up from her crouch. Her thighs tingled from the stretch of her muscles, and she ignited her weapon to cut at the restraints around the twins' tiny wrists. Luke and Leia were in awe at the sight of the humming blade and jumped when their mother swiftly cut down the middle of their handcuffs. Their skin was left flawless despite the proximity of the molten cyan and the destroyed restraints fell to the floor in a smoking mess.

Once the twins were free, Sol grabbed Luke and Leia's hands to help them over the stormtrooper bodies. When their fingers were tight around her palms, the twins slowly raised their small feet over the dead soldiers. After each twin made it onto the tiles, they hurried to be by their mother's side. The realisation of being in the presence of two human corpses had dawned on Luke and Leia, and they kept hold of their mother's hands when Sol turned to head down the hall.

'Mum?' Luke said, trying to get his dying question in before they ran into any more trouble.

'Yes, Luke?' Sol spoke while the three of them arrived at a two-way hallway. She looked left and right all while waiting for her son's question.

'Are you a Jedi?'

After Sol turned left and pulled the twins along behind her, she looked over her shoulder and down her arm. Luke stared up at her with sparkling blue eyes and when Sol glanced at Leia, she saw her own purple irises looking with a similar twinkle.

They had seen her kill the two stormtroopers with her lightsaber and the stories of Jedi Knights who fought for widepsread peace had been part of their bedtime stories since their infancy. Sol had resisted telling Luke and Leia that almost everyone they knew were Jedi, but there was no hiding it now. They had been brought into the conflict and it would help them understand the urgency of their situation if they knew at least some of the story.

'Yes. I am,' Sol answered after a short pause.

'Are Uncle Obi, Aunty Soka, and Uncle Revan Jedi, too?' Leia asked and Sol nodded. A gasp fell from Leia's lips, and she turned to her brother with a giddy smile. Luke grinned back at his sister and the twins shared a moment of excitement that Sol couldn't help but smile privately at.

'But the Empire doesn't like Jedi. It's why we need to focus on escaping, okay?'

Luke and Leia suppressed their urges to squeal and continued to follow their mother.

Ahsoka and Revan were overrun. They had been concentrating on keeping the death troopers and stormtroopers at bay, and hadn't seen when Luke and Leia were led out of the T6 and out of the hanger. Their rotating lightsabers had succeeded in protecting them from the continuous blasts, but the Jedi were tiring. A Jedi could only fight for so long, and with there being only two of them, Revan and Ahsoka were racing against time while fighting against Imperial floormen.

The only sign of hope was that no more stormtroopers had joined the fight, meaning that there was a possible end in sight. Revan and Ahsoka had been able to take down a handful of opponents with a combination of blaster deflections, and with the strikes of their lightsabers when they stepped too close. But the death troopers, who had been the first to join the fight, had barely dented their large supply of ammunition and weaponry.
