OLD MAN: I bet it does. What'd you say your name was?
LEE: it's Lee.
OLD MAN: Nice to meet you, Lee. I'm Hershel Greene.
You leaned over to Clementine's ear.
Y/N: *whispers* Full name status is so cool.
Clementine nodded her head.
HERSHEL: How'd this happen?
LEE: I uh, fell... trying to get away from one of those things.
HERSHEL: That so. What type'a danger have the kids seen?
You decided to show you could speak for yourself instead of having the questions solely pressuring Lee.
Y/N: Too much, too much for anyone our age. The past couple of days have been really hard yo get through, y'know?
HERSHEL: I still just can't imagine it.
LEE: Consider yourself lucky, these are tough kids.
HERSHEL: House is full up with mine. We've got another displaced family of three sleeping in the barn. You and your kids are welcome to rest there, when we're done here.
The elderly man then turns around, facing you and Clementine.
HERSHEL: I didn't quite catch your names.
CLEMENTINE: Clem-Clementine.
Y/N: I'm, (_____), Mr. Greene.
HERSHEL: Y/N and Clementine...
The old man paused to make sure he had the names right.
HERSHEL: Can't imagine what you've been through.
The Greene's door flew open, Shawn stepped out, ready to share some wisdom with his dad.
SHAWN: Hey, dad, so I'm thinking, first thing tomorrow, we gotta reinforce the fence around the farm.
Hershel, staying ignorant to the situation around him replies.
HERSHEL: That doesn't seem necessary.
SHAWN: I don't know what you saw on TV, or heard on the radio, but there's some serious... *lowers voice* SHIT, hitting the fan. I don't think anyone knows how big it is, yet.
Y/N: Your son's right, Mr. Greene. I've seen those monsters outside eat people and survive things that no normal people could.
HERSHEL: Well, do what you think you should. We've got plenty of chores as it is.
SHAWN: Lee and those folks in the barn can help out in the morning. We gotta do it, really.
HERSHEL: I already said, "okay."
The old man finally finishes wrapping Lee's leg up.
