THIRTEEN

We arrived in the restaurant, a man opened the door for me and I got out. Taehyung got out of the car and handed the key car to the man to park the car. Taehyung took my hand in his as he lead us in then stopped at the front table where a lady smiled at us.

"Hello, Mr. & Mrs. Kim welcome to Ambrosia Restaurant" she politely greeted with a warm smile. "Your table is ready, Sir" she said to Taehyung. I saw Taehyung then nods. "We'd like to come in now"

"Sure. Will you both please follow me" she said then lead us to the elevator where we will reach the top floor. Once the elevator open, my eyes widen. We were currently at the rooftop where we can see the beautiful view of the sea from up here. There was a single table with candle lights waiting for us. Taehyung turn to me with a smile. "Do you like it?" I smiled. "I love it. This is so beautiful"

The next moment he took my hand and kiss the back of my hand. "Happy birthday, Jisoo!" I widen my eyes. "Oh how did you-"

"I have my own way. Come on why we go and take a seat at table?" He state with gentle smile I never seen before. My eyes was well up with tears of joys.

"Hey, why are you tearing up? What's wrong?" He notice my reaction and asked out of concern. I quickly wipe away my tears and smile widely at him. "I was just so happy. Thank you Taehyung" Taehyung hold my both cheeks and wipe my fresh tears then give my cheek a peck before looking back into my eyes. "From now on, I won't make you cry anymore okay?" I nods with my heart full of love for this man.

We then sat down on our table. Taehyung order us our foods while I just admire the view in front of me. He really wanted to make my birthday special and I'm really happy that he arranged something like this. I have never had a boyfriend before so experiencing this new thing really exciting me. "They serve the best food in this place" Taehyung said, once the waiter left.

"You've been here before?" I asked to which he nods. "only twice. I came here 5 years ago with my parents and the second time was 2 years ago for a business trip"

The waiter came back with a bottle of wine and 2 glasses. He put them on the table and pour each glasses with wine. We thanked him the he left again. "You know this is my first time tasting a wine" I mutter as I look at my glass. He look surprise. "Really? You never had alcohol before?"

"Only twice, I had Gin for the first time. And something about long island tea when I went out with Bona and Do-Jun. I don't really drink"

"You are such an innocent" he smirked obviously tried to make fun of me. I rolled my eyes playfully at that. "Well, I never really went out for drinks or something like that"

"Why not?"

"I didn't have any friends in high school. Only have 2 bestfriends that are not that much of drinker as well" he nods then said. "Let's play 20 questions"

"Sure"

"Okay, your favourite colour?"

"Purple, yours?"

"I'm black. Favourite pets?"

"Dog. Favourite food?"

"I prefer like a spineese foods. Yours?"

"Korean foods. Especially chicken I love chicken the most"

"Oh really? You love chicken. That's why you look like a chicks sometime"

"Hey, people said that I look like a bunny"

"Yeah yeah, whatever you look like, you are really beautiful" he mutter out of the flaws but it making blushed red. Damn this man is really good at talking. We continue playing 20 questions untill the waiter finally brought our foods. We stopped out game as we enjoy our delicious dinner. We ate in silence first untill Taehyung broke it with his terrible jokes bit I did laugh because he tried so hard to make it funny and ended up embarrassing himself. I enjoyed to this side of him, I didn't know he could be this carefree and fun to be around.

We finished eating and just talked since other things about ourselves. Today I got to know him even more, he told me what he likes and what he dislike. I told him mine as well. We did really have that talk that was supposed to happen before we even got married. And I'm glad that we finally had that talk to get to know each other more.

I shivered a bit as the wind brushed my skin. Stupid me, I should have brought a jacket or something. Then I felt something wrapped around my shoulder, it was Taehyung's coat. I look over to see him standing behind me. "Taehyung what are you doing?" I couldn't help but asked.

"I noticed you shivered, it's the least I could do to prevent you from getting cold" I looke at his coat then at him. "Thank you"

"You welcome" he then step ahead and stood next to me, we watched the sea view in silence. But it was a comfortable moment. I'm really happy to have been here watching the beautiful view in Santorini with my husband. "Taehyung/Jisoo!" We said in unison. Then we burt into laugh. "You go first" He said still chuckled.

"I just want to thank you, not only fir today but also for the very first day we arrived here. I honestly have so much fun being here with you"

"You are very welcome. I promise you I will make it up to you, so I'll try to make this trip memorable for you and me as well" he state. I can't stop smiling the whole time we are talking. I never thought talking to him was this nice. "That's a very nice of you, Taehyung. And you already made this trip memorable. So what do you want to say?"

He look down at first like he was in a deep thought. There was a minute of silence as I was waiting for him to say something. He finally look up into my eyes. "Jisoo, I-i want to give this marriage a try" he finally said. It took me a while to register what he just said. And when I did, my eyes widen. "what?"

His eyes never left mine. "I want to give this marriage a try. All this time I have been wasting my time being cold to you and treated you badly. I really regretted everything I did to you back then, and not for once have I not felt guilty for hurting you feelings" there was a hint of regret in his voice, but he sounded genuine when he said those words. Honestly I have no idea what to say. I'm basically over the moon to heard that from him. My husband finally agreed to give this marriage a try. He didn't give up on us.

Jisoo say something please" he said sound nervous. I teared up. "I have been waiting for 7 months for you to say this. I honestly don't want to give up on this marriage because after all o care about you, Taehyung. Sure I was upset with how you treated me back then but I know deep down that you are a good person. And you have proven me at this moment"

He smiled then wiped a tear that fell from my eyes. "I care about you too, Jisoo. I promise I will make this marriage work. I mean it when I say I wanted to give this marriage a try. Let's take baby steps first for now let's be friends first"

I agreed with h. We can't just jump into a full couple thing just because we agreed to give this marriage a try. We need to take things slow to get know eachother more. To get comfortable around eachother.

This is the best birthday gift ever. Thank you God!
