15. End of High School

Megatron, "I am willing to listen, you listened to me after all."

Sam smiled up at Megatron and then decided to tell Optimus as well, they were the leaders and he wanted to do it in one go. Sam never did like repeating himself unless it was one of the sparklings or someone younger than him asking. But even then he would write it down for them after repeating it thrice at least and the kids adored him. Sam started to tell them about his past and how this was his third life all together. The first life he was a Korean soldier called Kim Roksoo fighting for survival which explained why Sam turned down Lennox's offer. The second life started all of a sudden when he was sleeping in his quarters and had woken up as a noble Cale Henituse.

Sam told them about how he dealt with war in both lives against monsters from another dimension to a crazy organization to fight against a psychotic God. Raon, Hong and Ohn piped in from time to time berating Sam for being careless with his life and almost dying. Megatron listened to it all quietly though anyone who could read the EMP field could tell he was keeping himself from hunting down those who had hurt his little sparkmate. Optimus was fascinated by the presence of the Gods in all three lives that Sam has so far and the abilities he gained. The two leaders had not realized that the abilities had minds of their own or that they were alive.

Megatron, "Does this mean you absorbed the Allspark too?"

Sam nodded, "Yes, but the Allspark is reluctant to interact with you after the sparklings died so suddenly at the centre."

Optimus closed his optics, a low whine escaping him, "I just cannot apologize enough for that."

Megatron looked guilty too, "Neither can I. I have always regretted failing to capture the criminal behind it."

Sam, "The Allspark does not hate you but they also do not know who they should trust. They received so many pained sparks at one go. They were very depressed by it for a long time."

Optimus, "I understand. I am glad you told us about this. I promise this time we will do better."

Megatron, "Could we tell our men you absorbed the Allspark at least?"

Sam, "Yes, but I cannot use them. I offered them a safe space. I am not going to start using them."

Optimus, "We understand."

Megatron, "The fact that we have three new sparklings is already a big miracle in itself."

Sam, "The Allspark wants the one responsible for the deaths found first and then they will consider creating more."

Sam then snickered, "They created my three kids again because apparently they had threatened the God of Death to return them to me."

Raon purred, "No stupid God is keeping me from my human."

Ohn nodded, "Yes, Sam is our family and human."

Hong, "We defeated a God before, we will do it again."

Megatron chuckled, "I have no doubt about that, my little ones."

Optimus was smiling fondly, "That is an understatement. Sam, Raon, Hong, Ohn, I promise we will find the one responsible for the deaths of so many innocents. Great Allspark, I promise I will bring justice to the sparklings and younglings who were wronged."

Megatron, "I already have the DJD on it, they are searching through the files from the centre."

Optimus blinked, "They are already at Cybertron? That was fast."

Megatron, "Yes, I was surprised too but I suppose the fact they lost someone close to them because of it had something to do with their haste."

Sam asked quietly, "They lost their sparkling too?"

Megatron, "Their own? No, but they knew two friends. Those two Mechs had a rambunctious sparkling. The little one was everything to them. The two of them had personally created the frame before heading to the Well of Sparks."

Optimus murmured, "Knockout and Breakdown."

Megatron nodded, "I lost two very dear friends and healers when the two of them off - lined. Tarn lost his most trusted confidant and became very depressed. It took many vorns before he started to go on missions with his team again."

Sam nodded, "I see. I hope we can make things at least a little better then. I do not expect us to be able to perform miracles but I hope we can make the hardships more bearable."

Megatron and Optimus nodded in agreement with Sam's words and then they spent the rest of the time asking a few questions. The Allspark was not completely against interacting with them, they were just wary about trusting them with new sparklings again. The reason they created the three sparklings was because Primus had shown them visions of their past and how close and powerful they were together. Megatron was curious about those visions but kept himself from asking and instead focused on making sure everything was okay even inside an organic body. It was a cause of concern as Allspark was an alien entity compared to the other ancient powers.

Glutton, 'We are fine.'

Crybaby, 'Do not worry about us.'

Cheapskate, 'Yes, it does not cost much.'

Sam, "The ancient power has it handled. Do not worry too much. I do not plan on using it's power. I am just it's landlord."

Allspark, 'A fine one.'

Sam, 'Thank you.'

Optimus, "Perhaps but still have Ratchet and Scalpel give you an in depth scan."

Raon, "You do have a stupid habit of hiding your hurt, foolish human."

Sam, "Fine, but only those two."

Megatron smiled, "Of course."
