"It certainly made you interesting. As for the important topics... are you still certain Abigail is innocent?" - She changed the topic.
"There is no proof that would indicate otherwise. Besides, If I don't trust her... I think no one will." - Will kept his eyes on the floor, trying to hide the uneasiness, "What do you think?"
"I think it would be stupid to make accusations without any proof. The town has already labeled her a killer, so I don't want to do that too. But... I think she has something to hide."
"She's hiding the loss under pretense of strength. She doesn't want to admit how sad she is... to herself. Hence the odd behaviour."
Eliana thought Will showed evident signs of denial, but decided not to mention it: "To have someone's unconditional trust like that must be nice."
Suddenly, a man with a frantic look came running through the thin woods. They instantly thought of Abigail whom they left alone, and the list of people her father made very mad.
"Hey! Stop!" - Will yelled at the man.
"Go to Abigail, Will. I'll go after him!" - Eliana said and started running before Will had a chance to protest.
He was fast, but his moves were uncoordinated and sloppy. The thick layer of leaves was constricting his movement. He slipped on the wet leaves, almost falling to the ground. Eliana used this to her advantage, getting closer to him.
"STOP!" She managed to grab his jacket, stopping him from getting away, "Who are you?"
"That girl killed my sister and now she's acting all innocent! Well I don't buy it!" - The man's eyes radiated rage and fear.
"Please, calm down. I think we should talk first." - Eliana tried to be rational, assesing the fresh wound on his temple.
He thought for a second before anwsering: "You police are all useless!"
He pulled his arm, releasing himself from Eliana's grip. She tried to grab him again, but he pushed away even harder. She ended up swaying and tripping on a root, awkwardly landing on her elbow. Pain pulsed through her arm as she tried to get up fast, but the young man had already disappeared inside the deeper part of the woods.

The next day at the cabin, Abigail's friend Marissa was found impaled on antler horns, just like Cassie Boyle. The obvious suspect was Cassie's brother Nicholas, the man who confronted Abigail the day before. Will, however, theorised the copycat was trying to frame Nick Boyle to confuse the police.
Abigail was ordered to pack her things and leave for the hospital, but even that couldn't go peacefully as she was attacked by Nick Boyle who knocked out Alana and Hannibal in the process.
"I was hit from behind." - Hannibal talked, holding a gauze on his forehead.
"And he escaped before any one of you could see anything?" - Jack asked suspiciously.
"Yes." - Hannibal anwsered.
"And Abigail was completely unharmed?" - Jack persisted.
"Jack, why are you constantly trying to find faults in her?" - Will interrupred.
"Because her stories are constantly fishy!"
"Sir, could I talk to Abigail for a minute?" - Eliana asked.
"You have some special insights?"
"I also find some things fishy."
"All right, go on."
