"Rei-Iseul!" I heard my mom call out, "Sorry, I have to go." I said to her before leaving to go to Amma. "Yes Amma?" She pointed over to the chairs in the corner. "Can you start placing the chairs, move the tables as needed, and yeah." I nodded as I ran to the chairs.
Picking two up I carried them over to the first few tables already set up. Placing them I noticed all the grown-ups leaving the room. "We'll be right back." I heard Amma call out. Sitting on the chair I traced the table cloth and sighed.
Suddenly my eyes were covered, Grabbing the wrist of the person I squeezed it. "Guess who?" I heard, it was high-pitched and forced to sound girly. Giggling, I uncovered the hand, "Let me guess, Aaron?" I said hoping to annoy Andy.
He pretended to be hurt. "I was just messing with you." I said as he laughed sitting in the next chair. He just looked at me, tilting my head in confusion. I asked, "What?"
He looked down. "Sure you can set up in those?" I nodded, shoving his head away. He stood up pushing the chair away. "Tag, you're it." He said running away as soon as he touched my shoulder.
I stood up and started chasing him around the room, my feet were killing me already but I didn't care, this was fun.
He was running around the tables as I suddenly almost tripped. Squealing I waited for impact as I felt arms wrap around me. Looking up, I felt my cheeks warm up.
He helped me up, "Sorry." He said as I laughed, "yeah?" I said before touching him on the shoulder and running away. "Tag you're it!" I yelled back.
I felt him roll his eyes and chase me, "come back here!" He said as I kept running, a bit slower this time because my feet were killing me. I felt him catch up to me grab me by the waist.
He picked me up as I kicked my legs a bit. "Put me down!" He pretended to think about it, "I don't know you did trick me." I groaned as he sat me down on a chair.
"Come one rest, I know your feet are probably killing you." He said as I sat there.
It was silent for a minute before I felt goosebumps forming on my arm, "You cold?" I heard him ask, I nodded, He stopped and took off his jacket, "Here." I stopped him, "No, trust me Andy, I'm fine."
He persisted as I finally gave in. Wrapping it around myself he stopped, "Since when did you wear heels?" I sighed, "Since Lydia's mom bought us each a pair and Stacy decided we should all wear them today.
He nodded, "Since when did you dress up Andy?" I said smiling gesturing toward his tie. He groaned in embarrassment, "My mom forced me too, she was all "You do want to look nice don't you?" And she made me wear the pants."
I giggled, "You look a bit weird." He rolled his eyes, "I'll be taking back my jacket now. I pulled away, "No, I think I'll hang on to it." He laughed. Suddenly people started coming into the room, the guests had arrived, and we hadn't finished setting up.
"Who can set up the most chairs in a minute?" He said as we both stood up. "You're on." I said as we rushed to the chairs.
The adults had just come back and were rushing to set up the food and just finishing up, thankfully they had already put up the other decorations.
Finishing I sat on a chair and there my head back in exhaustion . Andy collapsed onto the chair next to me. "How many did you get?" he asked, "3-30." I said I felt him smile slightly, "I won." He said.
