"How many times do I have to punch you 'til you're satisfied?" Taiju scowled, his breath heavy.
"Not gonna lose." Takemichi muttered, bleeding profusely as new bruises littered almost everywhere on his face.
"Why...Why don't you give up? You're too weak for this! You've done enough! Please just stop already!" Hakkai shouted.
"That's enough, Takemitchy. You did your best. We lost this one." Chifuyu muttered, still laying on the ground.
Y/n stared at Takemitchy with an unreadable expression before she felt something cold hit her head, making her flinch.
"Huh?" She mumbled, furrowing her brows as she looked around.
She saw nothing again though, which made her confused, but she shrugged it off upon hearing Takemichi's declaration.
"Taiju...I'm gonna defeat you and take control of the Black Dragons." Takemichi claimed before charging ahead once more.
"You can't...! You can't change anything!" Hakkai shouted.
'I wanna help Takemitchy, but...I want to see what he does. He's certainly something and I don't want to ruin this moment for him.' Y/n thought, pursing her lips.
'I also don't think I can stand right now...'
"You're wrong, Hakkai." Takemichi said, getting
up after being thrown back once more.
"You're the one who won't change." He said, causing Hakkai's eyes to widen.
The only sounds that could be heard in the church were grunts and the repetitive punches Takemichi received as he continued his battle with Taiju, showing no signs of backing down.
"You've done enough, Takemitchy! You're gonna fucking die!" Chifuyu shouted.
Takemichi let out another scream as he ran at Taiju, throwing his fist forward. As expected, Taiju once more punched Takemichi, but what caught everyone by surprise was that Takemichi had managed to punch Taiju as well.
"Tsk! Didn't even hurt..." Taiju said before his eyes grew wide as his knees felt weak and he fell on them.
"Wow..." Y/n muttered.
"Even the smallest chance..." Takemichi muttered.
"Takemichi, please...Just stop already." Hakkai pleaded.
"...that I can change the future...then isn't it worth risking my life for?" Takemichi continued.
"Hakkai, fighting on isn't painful. What hurts more than anything is loneliness." He smiled as Hakkai's eyes widened.
"You can talk to me about anything, Hakkai. We're friends, aren't we?" He said.
Tears flooded Hakkai's eyes and he fell to his knees, looking up at Takemichi with desperation.
"Takemitchy. Please help me...!" Hakkai cried.
"Leave it to me, Hakkai." Takemichi nodded.
"What's wrong, boss?" Inui questioned, staring at Taiju in disbelief.
"You kidding me?" Kokonoi said as he wore a surprised expression.
"He made the boss take a knee!"
Finally having awakened, Yuzuha stared forward with wide eyes, completely taken aback.
"Toman's captains are just that badass!" Mitsuya grinned.
"Holy shit, partner..." Chifuyu gaped.
"Man, Takemitchy's got one hell of endurance! And he brought Taiju to his knees!" Y/n spoke with awe.
