"Susannah used to force my mom to come here when they were kids. My mom always hated it but... Susannah loved it so much so..." Skye started.

"You know what else my mom loved? The back house." Conrad said, his smiled instantly disappearing.

"Connie..." Ana hissed to the boy once again.

"My mom's not evil, Conrad. And your mom wasn't a saint." She responded.

"Skye... both of you, please don't. What's the game you were talking about, belly?" Ana spoke.

"Right... Skye, have you ever played shoot your shot?"

"No, and I'm fine keeping it that way."

"Well, do you want to watch me beat Conrad's ass?" Ana asked, smiling widely. She loved that game. And since she was good at basketball, she could crush anyone.

Everyone giggled, "you could not do that." He said.

"I wouldn't hate watching that." Skye smiled.

"You think you still got it Conrad?" Belly asked him, egging him on.

"No one can compare to me when it comes to my second favorite sport." Ana continued.

"No! Please not another great boardwalk showdown." Steven groaned.

"So you wanna get cocky?" Conrad smirked, and Ana chuckled sarcastically.

"I'm not cocky, I'm confident."

"I'm in."

"Okay, teams then. Ana, Skye and Taylor are my team." Belly smiled.

"This place is huge... I don't know what I expected." Ana laughed, looking around.

"So.. was it worth it?" Conrad asked, grabbing her hand and locking his with hers.

Ana nodded, with a laugh, "so, where are we going to start? There's literally so much."

Conrad didnt hear what she said, he was too busy taking in her appearance and her touch.

Her hand was so small, and soft, it fit perfectly in his. She was so beautiful. She was tiny compared to him, he basically had to bend down to hug her, or.. kiss her. He thought it was adorable.

"We can play... shoot your shot?" Ana said, as she led her to the game.

"Have you played basketball? Or has it always been football?" ana asked, smirking at the game.

"Only football... have you played basketball?"

"For a year, but now I only play for fun." She responded.

The two started the game, and in the blink of an eye the girl who was running the game called out Ana as the winner making her squeal like a little kid.

"Can I have the... giraffe?" She asked, the girl nodded and handed her the small stuffed animal, and without a second thought she handed it to Conrad.

"I won you something." She said sweetly as if she hadn't just competed against him.

"Oh how sweet." He laughed, taking it from her, "I'll name it, little lise."

Ana blushed, looping her arm with his and continued walking.

After tons of games, and Conrad finally winning her a small polar bear stuffed animal he took her to get some candy for her father.

"All of this... looks delicious."

"Are you hungry?" He chuckled.

"Yes... but only for this. God, do you think he would care if I stole a few pieces?"

"Not at all."

Ana and Conrad walked around the boardwalk until they found a bench and sat down. It was already dark, they had been there for hours at that point and they did almost everything.

She sat there eating all of the candy, while Conrad just admired her. She was truly the most beautiful girl he had ever seen.

He waited until she was done swallowing a piece of the candy before her lifted up her chin with his finger, and leaned in quickly. Kissing her.

She melted into the kiss. No, it wasn't her first... but it was the one that meant the most, that felt the best.

After they pulled away, Ana wanted more, and so did he. He was about to lean back in again before Ana cringed.

"Ow..." she whispered.

"Are you okay? What's wrong?"

"I.. I feel like I'm gonna throw up."

"It was all that candy!" He laughed loudly, taking the bag from her and showing her the bag that was filled, now only holding two pieces.

"Oh god."

They both fell into a fit of laughter as they decided it was time to go home. And they laughed all the way to Ana's home .. and then laughed all night as they thought about their amazing night together.
