Team Bonding

"Right? Lets see what you've got." Elo says as Wren takes a step forward onto the trampoline.

She starts jumping but looks really uncertain. 

"Come on Wren!" Bodhi cheers and claps.

Wren then does a really terrible attempt of a forward flip which makes some of us hold in our laughs. 

"You're not even trying. I expect a lot more from my team captain." Elo says harshly. Nice isn't going to win you heats, I do agree, Wren does need to push a bit harder.

"I don't need airs to win heats." Wren says to Elo.

"Guess our fearless captain cant do everything." Summer says from the side.

"Go on America, show us your stuff." Marlon says, making Summer go on the trampoline.

She jumps a few times and does a front flip variation where she turns in the air. It looks really cool.

"Yes Summer, good technique. That's more like it." Elo says praising her as everyone claps looking impressed.

As Summer walks down to where Wren is, Elo tells us about timing and control. 

"How about the queen of airs goes next." Baxter says standing up and pushing me towards the trampoline.

I jump a few times and do a B Twist and land successfully, Shocking everyone.

"That was amazing Hawaii." Marlon says.

"Perfect, absolutely perfect." Elo says as everyone claps, including herself.

"Thanks everyone." I say shyly.

Practice ends soonly after and Baxter runs after me.

"That flip was amazing Cor." He has gushing over me.

"Thanks." I say trying to go home.

"Seriously, all you're gonna say is Thanks?" He says looking deeply in my eyes making me nervous.

"What do you want me to say, 'Thank you so much Prince Baxter, your praise means the world to me I could faint?'" I say dramatically causing him to laugh. 

"Yeah, something along that line." 

"Never gonna happen Baxy Boy." I say touching his cheek and then walking away.

TIME SKIP

"You ready to go?" Poppy says coming into my room.

"I'm not going." I say and continue scrolling on Insta.

"Excuse me, you're Cora Tetanui the best surfer on the team, you're going." Poppy says assertivly.

"Uugh fine, but if its boring I'm coming back." I say as I get up.

"Fine. Make sure you look hot, Bax will be there." She says as she slowly leaves.

"Can I not dress cute for myself and not for a boy?!" I shout to her.
